I just found your channel a few days ago, cause I searched seated exercise. I have pretty bad shin splints in both legs atm. So also lately I gained a lot of weight and dove head first into sugar and white bread addictions. It feels impossible to control. I haven't at all thought about going no sugar, but after this I feel like YES. I'm doing it. Thank you for the kick. ❤️ Greetings from Denmark :D

Some ways to save money: don't snack (less food = more savings), make bowls from beans, canned tomatoes, frozen veggies, potatoes, etc. Buy fresh veggies. Carrots are inexpensive, so is cauliflower, broccoli, squash, etc. Eggs last a while (you get 12 lol). Get a big container of lettuce and make your own dressing from vinegar and olive oil. Drink water and flavor it with a tea bag. Oats with cinnamon and butter. It takes work, but it can be done!

Great coach. I am recovering from my 2nd shoulder surgery, one (reverse) shoulder last May and just a scope and clean up this year. 3 months off for each, 6 months total of recovery has gained me a few pounds, 6 to be flat honest. Awesome techniques, simple exercises nothing stressful.

Good morning Donovan, I just recently started your chair workouts after my daughter sent me your videos. I stumbled up on the 10-day no sugar challenge Saturday morning. I attempted to join in on Sunday, I failed, but today is a new day! I know from experience how toxic sugar is to my body as I've conquered it a few times in my life only to slip back. I am excited to get my body back on track. So today, I shared with my family what I am doing so that they, too, can hold me accountable. Thank you for your videos and inspiration. It truly is an answer to prayer. Keep doing what you're doing to the Glory of God! Thank you again, and God bless you in Jesus' Mighty Name!

Hello all 😊 Ok. So I am on day three, and until three days ago I didn't know I was a junkie! Sugar junkie! Can I tell you? That first day by noon I felt and looked like a zombie!!! I could NOT stay awake. By the end of the day I was ready to break this challenge; however, praise God I stuck it out. Today I am doing good, and I have decided I will not go back. Thank you Donovan. I truly appreciate you doing this🥰

On Day 4 of no sugar. I must admit the first couple of days was VERY VERY HARD it's crazy how addicted to sugar that I was, I was craving something sweet but I ate on fruits 😊 ate lean meats and vegetables drinking lots of water helps to because it helps you to full faster and MORE IMPORTANTLY I wasn't binge eating. I also realized that all of the processed food isn't good for me in general. And my taste buds have changed. I learned to look at the back of labels of foods you would be surprised of how much stuff the certain foods

Let's all remember that no sugar doesn't mean replace it with fake sugar. Chemicals are not natural, and more natural sugars like coconut and agave are STILL SUGAR.

Just because you have a craving does not mean you have to follow it. It is called will power. Few people will die or become ill if they don’t follow their cravings. Plus a craving usually means your body has a deficiency of what the foods contain. Not giving in to craving builds character and makes you stronger. Knowledge about our bodies will also help. Most mammals produce sugar. Knowing that lets us know we dont need to add processed sugar. Learn your body and discover you dont need to eat to happy. We have been conditioned that food is more than what it is. Food like money is not the beginning or end of anyone.

The best way to eat is portion size and portion control. Diets don't work and that's why there are so many of them. If people stop and understand why food labels are on food; they will see that eating is not hard. They will see that they don't have to let certain foods make them feel guilty or even hate themselves. Our body needs sugar, just like it needs salt. If people likes cookies, then have your cookies. Look at the serving size. The serving might be 2 cookies or 3 cookies. Eat the serving. Porton control is how much of a serving you choose to eat. Eat smart and not hard. Your body will love smart eating.
@chairfitcampКүн бұрын
I agree. But that is easy to say, but it needs to be done. These 10 days are all about awareness. This isn't a diet at all-it's a call to action! People will NOT follow a label that says to eat only 4 cookies when they are truly addicted to them. We must slowly find ways to reduce addiction and common sense rating strategies.I have been in this business for over 20 years, and I can honestly say that what I teach truly works once people take action. Thank you for leaving your comment.

good on you for pointing out all the sugar in processed foods. as a borderline diabetic i had to educate myself on that some years ago. fortunately i grow as much of my own food as i can (which is not nearly enough, but always improving), and my diet has become somewhat more limited as a result, but much more healthy. chair fit!
