Hi, your video is answering many questions. I ordered my cabinets 2 months back and at that time was not aware of the waterfall concept. I ordered a leg to support my countertop on island. Now I like waterfall but cant cancel the leg. Can I have the leg even if i have waterfall? Also can I do waterfall on one side only? Also what is worth it...quartzite or quart with veins? thanks for your inputs.

I am building 500 sq ft ADU and can’t afford a island but peninsula at 30 inches x 5ft against wall and clearance is only 36 inches . Fridge will not be around the peninsula but just cabinets. I am debating Lshape but I don’t like corners

I need HELP please! I am about to purchase Aspect cabinets because I like the colors for my two-tone kitchen. However, I am not sure about the quality of these cabinets especially the boxes. I also have quotes from Lowes on Diamond mid grade. They are made of plywood but I can't find the colors I like. Should I go with Diamond which offers a better warranty or with Aspect with only a five-year warranty? I'd really appreciate your input!!

Great MUST HAVES list! One recommendation I have is to add an element of design based on your aesthetic preference….two-tone cabinets, one set of cabinets w/glass doors to display decor, or backsplash, etc. Splurge on at least one thing that makes your kitchen easy on the eyes in addition to being functional😉🏡

What are your thoughts on glossy white porcelain tiles? Thanks

I was hoping for useful suggestions for a new kitchen backsplash. I edited this to add that the ideas here were visually stunning but impractical I can't imagine anything worse than textured tile in the kitchen if you actually use the space for cooking. I don't want to try to scrub grime out of every nook and cranny on my backsplash! Sorry, but most of these trends were a hard NO for me.

edited to add that many of the ideas were visually stunning, just completely impractical. I think the marble printed tile will look stunning in your shower project!

Have you used other design software such as: cabinet vision, fusion, Monika, sketch up, Cheif architect and more… 2020 did not allow all there catalogs to be available which really sucked because now your limited…. Does this software allow you to modify , CNC and manufacture and modify parts for both Faceframe and euro styles along with door styles?

I need to check the tile for my kitchen and new bathroom. Can you recommend the tile stores I can visit, I live in the Los Angeles Redondo Beach area. And I want to use the same tile on the kitchen , bathroom, and my fireplace, do you think is that ok? The color for my kitchen is kind of white and a little bit oak. What color do you recommend for the tile then? Thanks a lot, I really enjoy watching your videos. Thanks a lot.
@TheMaterialBarАй бұрын
I suggest checking out The Tile Bar. They offer sample shipping and are easy to work with on tile. And yes, you can totally use the same tile. Think about changing up a color or shape in some areas but I just visited a very high end home the other day and loved how the same tile was used throughout but in different color concepts. So it seemed like a sense of cohesiveness but added interest in the different rooms. I can’t really speak to colors a lot in this platform without seeing images and it goes back to personal preference and suggest ordering samples of different colors. Hope this helps and thank you for watching!

Great tips! I’m almost done updating my small kitchen and I managed to add that pull out trash cabinet, tall pantry next to the refrigerator (just one pantry cabinet that I sacrificed a small counter space) and that deep wall bridge cabinet above the refrigerator. I remodeled another kitchen a few years back and wanted something really different this time as it looked like your typical flipped kitchen. I kept the original 90’s back splash tile (in a neutral color) and went for a wood look countertop from IKEA.

I’m putting in a new quartzite waterfall island with 3in detail and going to do a 3in overhang on the seating part of the island…. Do you think that is too much? Island is 7ft long. Any help or advice would really be appreciated 🙏🏻
@TheMaterialBar2 ай бұрын
I don't think so. I believe having that chunkier top will add so much depth to your island and really pull it out from the rest of the space. It's totally normal you would do it around the entire island top. Sounds Like it will look stunning!!

I wouldn't call most of these trending. If you see these materials at a floor and decor then the trend is over and if you don't see the material then most likely the trend is either dead or niche. Outside of the fluted tile the rest are nationally done trending.

So so disappointed in the cabinets. They just arrived. The people who ordered them paid $26 thousand dollars for them, maybe a 10x10 kitchen. All are cheap. Scratch all over them, and the laminated wood finish is like paper thin paper thin. You can see bubbles in the finish where it lifted. Wow, for $26 thousand dollars, you failed

Hi and thanks for watching. What is the question about them? If you are changing your kitchen or bath layout for example, you need to look at your space and make sure you do not have a vent anywhere in the way. There are ways around it but it's something to think about before hand. If you only think about it during cabinet install because you are running into an issue with one being in the way it could cost you delays and extra labor etc. If you have one in the floor sometimes they can stay and get re-routed through your cabinet toe kick. Hope this helps!!
