Great video. Cole’s kids have the cutest cheeks on the planet! When Cole talks about how his dad and grandad would give simple instructions and leave him on his own to figure it out. I don’t think that was true but that’s how his dad instilled a sense of independence. After watching dozens of videos with DC, it’s clear Cole only THOUGHT he was unsupervised, but DC was always watching. Look at how he’s keeping an eye on the dogs in a lot of the older videos, it’s DC who is looking around to see if the dogs were in the wrong place. DC is not only caring, but a wise man 👏

I used to have my own toolbox, and knew how to use everything in it. But, you guys have all kinds of parts, hoses, whatever else and you and Cooper and his friends know how to fix nearly every piece on every piece of equipment. Cole said you all have your fortes, and you all get everything done. Cole does the figures and computer stuff, while you and Cooper work on, and use all the equipment. I think I could learn to use the equipment, especially growing up around it. Even little Eddie knows a little bit. He knew if you hit a "nail" hard enough, it's supposed to go into something. If it doesn't, throw it in a pile. He's getting to the fun stage! Enjoy those grandbabies Daddy Cornstar, and Uncle Cooper. My Dad was a hoot with my girls. He thought he was getting away with things, but I knew. It was harmless and better, made memories for them all. One was getting ice cream late in the day. I didn't care. But, they all had the same stain in the same place on their shirts 😂. I would quietly giggle as I sprayed every stain, even the chocolate finger prints on the back of my Dad's t-shirts 😅❤. I let him think he was getting away with something. I lost him 15 years ago next week. Enjoy what life brings you. You're still able to work with your sons, and they with you. You get to play with your grandbabies as well. You know how fast they grow up. So, enjoy what every day brings you Daddy Cornstar. ❤😊

That style fitting needs a tube insert to squeeze the compression ring into

Sometimes the insert stays in the fitting and can be a part of the fitting that the tube slides over. The compression ring, also called a ferrule, is different from a commonly used type for copper tubing. DOT rated air fittings for heavy trucks use a slightly thicker and longer compression ring. It seems strange that they would use plastic tubing on a hydraulic line because hydraulic fluid temperatures can get quite high even if the pressure is low. It might be necessary to replace the line and fittings with a hydraulic hose with crimped on fittings.

You jobs not in danger it's just begun. You raised the boys and taught them to do what they do. Now you have time to teach the next generation. You'll have more time with them because the boys will take care of most of the work. The little guys will be wanting to go farming soon. I was around 4 when my dad and uncle would have me steer the truck in the hay field to run the hay up the loader while they stacked it then one of them would jump down and turn it around and line up the next row I learned many things from that uncle. because his son was grown and he had time to teach me how to do things my dad didn't because he was working to make a living

I hate them fittings on plastic. I got to use a plastic line for my oil pressure gauge on my truck. I've blown them off racing my truck and sprayed oil over everything. I bought a kit at NAPA that had one that fit a little tighter than factory.

Aww….little Eddie is so stinking adorable. He really could be a Gerber baby model. ❤. Before long he will be in the shop with scrap wood, a small hammer & nails & pounding them into the wood. I went in our basement & my 4 year old daughter had taken some screws, took a hammer & started them into the wood wall, THEN used a screw driver to screw them in. I may not have even noticed except there were 6 in a row & at different lengths…😂. I couldn’t be mad because she was learning & trying. After that we made sure she had her own “scrap wood”, little hammer and hardware. I hate looking & seeing all of these toddlers & young children being given a tablet to constantly watch stuff. If it’s educational & limited time that’s one thing. But using these as a baby sitting option is not good. Kids need to learn to be creative, think for themselves & learn by trial & error. Never forget taking my nephews out bowling. They said, “Man this is hard. we usually bowl a 300 on the Wii”.

An 80 year old lady was coming out of the department store---she saw 4 men taking off with her car--she set her groceries down, pulled out her gun-at the top of her lungs she yelled "get out of the car or I will shoot" the 4 men got out & took off running. The lady picked up her groceries, put them in her car & got behind the wheel....she tried to put her keys in the ignition...the keys would not go in....she found her car & went to the Police Station to tell them what she had done...surprised the 4 men were there telling them a crazy old lady forced them to get out of their car or she would shoot them....be warned of a Senior Moment....
