DC just take the skidloader door to your local glass shop to get new laminet glass put in. Way cheaper. Ive done several doors working at a glass shop.

Consider replacing the skid steer windshield with a product, called "lexon", a clear plastic material. It takes a lot to damage/break it, and too, it's use in outdoor advertising light signs. Hope this idea helps, just the same "thanks" for sharing your vedios and your everyday life!

I love catching up with y'all. For the plywood that you use in the cemetery maybe you can use stencils and spray paint arrows to indicate the direction they should go. Say something like "arrow should point towards headstone". Just a thought.

I was gonna mentioon plexi glass. It works great depending on what you're doing with the machine. Theyu last a couple of years before they are scratched up to much.

DC, try stropping @ your local sign shop and have them make a sign along with a picture of a sheet of plywood showing the dangers of falling in the hole, Real Estate signs have a lower cross bar you can step on to ensure it doesn’t blow over. If you installed the sign @ the edge of the grave this might help protect everyone. The funeral home could then pick it up once the service was over.

Daddy you should to your glass shop and see if they have thick LEXAN™ Polycarbonate clear plastic it is almost unbrakable. get 1/2 inch or thicker

Go to an automotive glass shop ie. Safelite and get them to cut you a piece of “laminated glass” for the skid steer. Laminated glass is like your car windshield and won’t go into a million pieces when you break it. Should be cheaper also.

Get a forestry window made for your skid steer, it’s 1/2” thick Lexan and you could take a hammer to it and not break it. Several companies make them pre-cut for your machine. Don’t use plexiglass-glass it would e very dangerous.

Lexan is a brand, polycarbonate is the generic product, look for a scratch resistant version and bite the bullet and buy a full 4 x 8 sheet and cut out 2, one for now and one for 5 years from now when the current one is scratched and UV deteriorated/cloudy. start with a cardboard template to fit and then cut it with a plywood blade in a power saw. buy a new blade and know that it will take the sharp out of the blade pretty quickly.
