Can I make this with just regular smoked paprika?

Can you use the olive oil from the sardine tin as either part of the frying oil or as part of the aioli? It seems a shame to waste it.

That dish looks really tasty and totally up my street Albert ! I also love potatoe salad, I just use different ingredients (like pickled cucumber, and gruyere cheese, which is from Switzerland. But I also like to include tomato, olives, and tuna, so I guess our recipes are not that different :-).

Yup. This works. And also it works with leftovers: I usually boil too many potatoes when I am having them with a meal as they serves in so many other ways. Same with boiled eggs: if I am doing hard-boiled eggs and toast for breakfast, I usually do a few extra, as they can serve on salads, kedgeree, sandwiches or be devilled on a salad plate. Either way, the rest of the ingredients and that nice dressing work well -- though I would also drizzle the dressing over the tuna.

Ciao and thank you for your delicious recipe.. this reminds me, when i was at vacation in southern italy on a visit my grand parents on my fatherside.. my Grandfather (nonno) was creating a summer salad, he cooked some potatos, after this he cut them and put them in a large bowl, together with many cutted garlic, in the meantime he fried some paprika and peperonici in olive oil and mixed all in the bowl, at least some salt and more olive oil.. we loved to eat this at the evening with bread. ❤ many greetings from brunswick in germany and please stay safe 🙃
