Can you please make a video how to make homemade panko breadcrumbs. I’ve watched many videos, but would appreciate your expert advice and guidance. You are special, that’s for sure. 😊

We always called them Russian Tea cookies but at this time of year we said, Christmas snowballs! I don’t care what they are called just so long as I have 12 dozen all to myself lol!!❤

WOW I am so excited to bake this for the first time. You’re an amazing instructor!!! I have a question. How long can I keep the filling in the fridge? Or is it best to use it when chilled and/or from the freezer? I can’t wait to learn more from you!!! Thank you!!!

Hi, the written recipe calls for 2 cups of flour, in the video you say 1 cup and 3/4? What is the correct amount, thanks 😊

How thick should the pie crust be if making from scratch?

Hi Marie, 1st time seeing you. I always wanted to try the chocolate ones. We've been making the regular ones every Christmas for over 60 years. We called them Butterballs. The recipe was from a little cook booklet from the gas company. Maybe because we had a gas stove in the 60's. The recipe called fir granulated sugar in the dough instead of conf. sugar, & we chose to use fresh walnuts (my Mother would crack them), & always rolled them twice in powdered sugar (while they were still very warm, but don't burn your fingers! I LOVE your sweet, beautiful dog! Merry Christmas!

Could this somehow be modified into a butterscotch pie? Maybe substitute the sugar for brown sugar? I’m obviously no chef. Just someone who loves butterscotch pie and the simplicity of this recipe.

I just tried this recipe and it was just what I was looking for! They were so fluffy but not heavy. And the tip about not using too much butter to cook the pancakes on, solved the problem I had with that fried look and texture. All of those tips were what was missing from all the recipes I’ve tried. This is a keeper. Well done.

Hi Steven! I’m so glad you let me know! It seemed like the last few videos didn’t get many views and I didn’t see many of my regulars in the comments, so I was wondering if something was off! I’ll see if I can do anything about it on my end. Thanks again and thanks for watching , Marie

In the UK we have a specific apple for pies and baking called Bramley apples. You wouldn’t ever eat these apples as they’re so very tart. We eat Granny Smiths over here, but would never eat a Bramley apple. No other apple would ever do for our pies over here.
