I never understood what people meant but you have explained it so clearly that I fully understand it now! Amazing how some people talk so much and don’t say it clearly and then you come across one person that says it with such clarity in few words that you get it! Thank you so much! ❤❤❤

Hi, Marie! I have never made a pie and have, in addition to your channel, been in pie groups to get tips. Some in the groups say not to use glass pie dishes. What is your opinion? Can you do a video on the differences in results when using different types of pans?

Hi Debbie! Welcome! Thanks for watching! That’s a great question! I love to use glass pie plates - it’s pretty much all I use 😊 I’ll definitely do a quick video on other options - thanks for the idea! Hugs, Marie

Thank you, this has been sooooo helpful, you're an excellent teacher! I was wondering...is it possible to make apple crumb pie and pecan pie and freeze them a few days before the holiday and then just defrost them; it would sure make the days preceding a holiday easier! Thank you for this channel, I just hit that subscribe button!!

Do you need to let the COOKED Pie Crust fully cool BEFORE adding the chilled Pie Fillings? Or is it ok to fill the COOKED Pie Crust with the chilled Pie Fillings it is a little bit warm still? Dough Pie Crusts for Chilled Fillings are somewhat new to my baking style. In the past I've always made Graham Cracker Crusts or Crushed Cookie Crusts for my "Ice Box" Pies. Thanks for any clarification.

Great question! The cooked crust needs to be COOLED before you add the filling. The filling can be a little warm when it goes into the crust, but again the crust needs to be COOL. Hope that helps! Stay tuned, Marie
