Now show how to do the pre CC sensor, it's easy to show how to do the post one and on my police package it has one sensor before the CC and one right in the center of the CC

Just did mine today for the first time. Here's a tip. If you do your drivers side tie rod at the same time, you don't need to loosen or pull the steering box at all. I had done my passenger side tie rod, inner and outer, last spring so I thought I might as well get the drivers side too. The slack on the bar allows enough room to get the pitman arm off without moving the steering box. I pulled the nuts off the pitman and pulled the idler arm and bracket out in one piece. I had more trouble getting the inner tie rod end broke loose than anything else.

I get to change the ac compressor hose assembly. Mine took a rock to it. Hoping I can get the hoses off without needing to completely remove the compressor. Thanks for the video.

I tried about 2 layers of Teflon tape on my water pump bolts but I believe it may have a significantly reduced the friction on them. I was afraid to overtighten them and strip the threads in the engine block, even though I have an accurate torque wrench. It appears to me that only the lower right one goes into the coolant and needs sealant. Now I am going to try Permatex high temperature "Thread Sealant." I have a 2003 Astro with 4.3 L. I'm finding a torque spec of 45 N-m or 33 ft-lbs.

Thanks for the video, I'm sure I'll be doing it this at some point on either of my trans ams. I'll definitely be cutting that bolt head off though, no way I'm dropping the subframe or anything like that.

Even if I had to buy a sawzall and use it just once to cut that bolt I would. That day may come as I own a 1999 SS I bought new and still own to this day. No fault of yours WCG, but GM effed up with that impossible rack bolt.

or you could cut the bolt on the driver side from the top. Re-install the new bolt correctly.

I was laughing through the first half of the video because I just did this job and knew what was coming. But I cut the driver side rack bolt out instead, and I put the new one in from the bottom with the nut on top. Saved a load of trouble and time for now and the future.

If you do get air in the ABS, there is a rubber seal and a bleeder valve. You can bleed you're ABS the same way..

I feel like most all of this info was useless because just about when you think "oh yea that is what i need details on" he either skips it entirely or just breezes past it, like oh yea just reattach it.... Figured it out myself in the end no thanks to this video skip and move on to the next.

Got it done, started right up. actually not too hard once you get passed the white ring (thanks to this video). The counter clock twist on the pump removal is a great tip. I still don't know what sort of tool removes the collar clamp. I used 90 degree bent needle nose pliers but it looks like a compression tool best I can figure. The replacement that comes with the pump is a standard hex so no issues in the reinstall. As for difficulty I can say at least BMW gave us access hatches instead of having to drop the tank. That does make it it much easier. And in typical BMW fashion, most of the connectors are snap on, so that's fairly easy too.

Safer to flush it out and go with regular green coolant. Dex can turn black and gummy gummy if you're low/have air in the system.
