Aaron from Alpha M gets clowned on *hard* by more fashion-progressive creators, but to his credit, his corner of KZbin is full of some very hypermasculine and problematic ideas of how men should behave, and Aaron is nowhere near that toxic. Like he’s a generally levelheaded guy.

Suede is easier to maintain than most leathers imo, just make sure there isn't rain in the weather forecast. Dirt can easily be brushed out.

The Arabian Gulf countries are the last countries on Earth that has a formal dress which is worn by most men every day, whatever the occasion. Before the 60s, most European men across the world would wear shirts, hats and suits as standard.

That Ashley woman has no style herself, it’s like she just walked into Zara and picked up the most dull thing they sell. Why anyone would take fashion advice from someone who has no style themself is beyond me.

What are the jeans in the video and how did you find that fit? I’d love to find it but it’s either too straight or overly baggy. Can’t seem to find that loose yet cropped at bottom fit

These are vintage Levi’s 505s off ebay. I tried my normal size 28 waist but they were too tight. So I found some 30 waist instead and they fit well. I cut the legs shorter with fabric scissors!

I don't know how it took me so long to subscribe -- your videos are always so helpful for me, a clueless millennial who's relatively new to menswear. And your voice is so soothing! I managed to snag the original vintage version of those Polo Ralph Lauren shorts for basically zero dollars and am maybe more thrilled than I should be.

I wanted to love their chino pants but after a couple of washes (cold) mine shrank and one pair no longer fit me. I bought 3 pairs and they all fit differently so there is some inconsistency there as well. The fit is great initially, but not worth the price for me. I would like to try some other pieces though.

I have stuff from oversized to slim. I'm still going to rotate them and not follow trends because I finally found out what works and doesn't in my personal style. Lol! I still have my eye on dirty jeans (not ripped) from Acne. Lol. But you are right. I'm also wearing down my raw denims and looking forward to how they break down. Trends may die out but there will be sub-cultures still wearing them. i.e. oversized and baggy is dominant now but there are still people rocking slim. It will be the same when baggy goes out of the limelight. It's cyclical.
@JamesLeung15 сағат бұрын
You’re absolutely right mate! Keep wearing what you like 👍

Those baggy oversized jeans were popular in the early 90s and sometime in the early 2000's. Sometime in the year 2000 my nephew was into that look but his were paired up with chains hanging down off the waist. Not sure how long the look lasted for but eventually it went away.
@JamesLeung15 сағат бұрын
Haha, I used to wear them as well! Although I feel like they’re getting way bigger now than they used to be.

Been there, done that. From archive Ann D (sister put me on that sht), to all the way to Ecko/HUF/Hundreds when they were poppin'. Been in multiple communities, all the way from SuFu to SZ and StyleForum. Just wear what you want or like. These trends are made by someone, then adopted by the masses. If you happen to enjoy one of those trends then awesome! You don't gotta drop'em once its not hot anymore. If you like'em, then you like'em. End of the story. In the end, you gotta be comfortable with what you wear. For me, it all felt fake AF, felt like I was wearing a costume. AKA lookin' like a tryhard or a poser. It's great to wear clothes and express yourself, that's the beauty of it. But I've realized that it's not for me, I will just stick to watching runways vids or photos from my fav designers / houses. Like any other hobbies, you gotta find the healthy balance. Hope y'all find inner peace with clothes.

I can't wait for this whole oversized jeans, tee, hoodie etc. trend to either die out or at least not be as prevalent as it is right now. Literally every second 15-24yo is dressed like this. And don't get me started with the god-awful Vans Knu School, Adidas Campus and other chunky sneakers ...
@jethrojacinto50443 күн бұрын
All those fashion channels are pretty bad. I can't believe casual people made them into who they are today, they gained a lot of traction they don't deserve for just mediocre advice.

The dressing your age part should really speak into people's mindset as they're growing up. Who care about what other people think honestly? If you do, you're spending too much time on social media and consuming too much of what these influences are saying. Just be smart about you wear and what makes you feel confident and comfortable I think are the most important parts.

Alpaca wool is amazing! Some people who get skin irritation from merino, can wear alpaca. It's got a higher insulation to weight ration than merino and other common wools. It's incredibly soft, lightweight, and warm. I live in Northern Norway, so the weather is always shite, and alpaca is the best <3
