I see that this channel hasn't been updated for a long time. But this video is fantastic, thanks to Thomas I was able to install the rain and light sensor on my Corsa D! I just want to leave a little note for anyone thinking of doing the same. (Attention, at minute 7:22 Thomas is showing the wrong wire. The wire he shows is not pin 35! Please look at your connector and count correctly up to pin 35). To activate with OPcom watch Thomas's video "Opcom Walkthrough Corsa D". Be Happy

Probably worth checking the scuttle drains whilst you got all that off. They often block with leaves/mud . Great video

My corsa is a 2007. Is it the same procedure as your corsa? Also mine is a lefthand drive.

Hi guys, once Thomas is no longer answering questions, I would like to know if anyone can help me. I am struggling to access the Body Control Module -> Program Variation once I only have the security code for Instruments, but it is not the same, the car computer does not accept for this module. Does anyone know how I can get this code? I have gone to an Opel dealer in France but they don't even know what I'm talking about (as crazy as it sounds...) I have an Opel Corsa D 2007 and wanted to turn the Fog Lights as present...just that! Thanks for your help! Cheers. D.P.

I have a question: I have a Vauxhall Life 1.2 semi-automatic gearbox (year 2013), and I am the third owner ..... I purchased the car in August 2020, and I have had it with MOT and serviced every year without fail, I never changed the gearbox oil ....... as it's a semiautomatic car with a manual gearbox ....... should I have the oil changed next service? it changes gears without a problem and even though it's an old car, it does not give me trouble so far, I am just curious if I should have the oil changed or should I leave it as it is .......... thanks.

Thank you for this video! I had to remove the other plastic cover to change the linkage (maybe there's less room in the left-hand-drive model/Opel Corsa D), but then it worked perfectly.

good evening, do you know how programming is done, I have to take it to an electrician or to Opel, I had the small screen, I changed it, I put the big one together with the radio, and it doesn't show me the consumption at all, you know I have to do it.. thanks

As to why I've sat and watched this I'll never know..my corsa already as front fogs maybe I watched it thinking I'd never be able to do that job 🤣 great video well explained I've learnt a few from your channel few things on mine.

Tom good video. I messed up. Hit the splined bolt with a copper hammer and bent the bracket. Put it back together another 3 times after taking a whisker off the wiper arm spring as it was scratching the windscreen, then adding a washer under the wiper motor housing. Then bending the bracket back up and adding another washer. Finally it was good to go. a 1/4 af socket will do if you don't have an E30 tool Comment @jimcraig9882 5 years ago (edited)

Trouble is I have a 2011 Vauxhall Corsa and I’m not sure if this will work with the current model that I have Corsa S Ac Cdti Ecoflex S/S 93 and would I be able to use the buttons not too sure

Excellent video, gave me a great head start. a good tip as well is to put an M8 stud about 30-40mm long in the bottom bolt thread before fitting the new starter. it will line up the starter and the 2 bolt holes also taking the weight of the starter, making it a lot easier to get the top (braille) bolt in. After tightening the top bolt half way take the stud out and replace with the earth bolt.

How do you set the range on this

Oil pan not to explode on ya as at Tom's? Just have two bolts at the shorter side of the rectangle stay in with some threads while all the others are gone....only then pry with whatever U want at the gasket mating surfaces....the pan pops only in one direction....more controlable.... the more threads the two bolts are engaged in the housing...the more control U will have. I have error of bcm in diagnosis but in real I have a blinking light of glow plug in dash and poor fuel economy in my corsa d 2008. It's consumers 10 litre per 100 km and RPM jumps from 800 to 1000 . Please help if anyone have any idea about this problm

A good idea is to go a to a local breakers where they let you get the bits off yourself and get a many of these clips (and clips really) as possible, trust me. nothing worse than the clip flying away into oblivion and needing to wait days for a replacement. EZbleed kit, £20ish,well worth it, just keep the pressure around 15 psi and you'll be fine.
