My cats ruined my attempts to make a gardening channel last spring. They dug out the seeds from my raised beds, shitt on them and peeed on them. Maybe i better make a channel about " cooking (for) cats🤔. Seriously, the company i was working for went bankrupt last Thursday, so i am not entirely happy right now. The state of the world we all live in is currently a mess. But what the heck! Dont worry, be happy! 😉

@LaureninGermany Not much snow in Denmark this winter, i am afraid. A Danish "white Christmas" is defined as: " at least 5 millimeter of snow covering at least 90 percent of Denmark " . I have experienced two Danish white Christmases in a row. 2009 till 2011. First and only event in Danish history. I do not really know if i love or hate the time we live in right now. One one hand we live in historical times for the world, in the other hand i feel helpless for the USA, where 50 percent of the population voted against their own best interest. Actually, the Bavarian Constitution states: "The enjoyment of natural beauty and recreation in the great outdoors, in particular the entering of forests and mountain pastures, the navigation of waters and the appropriation of wild forest fruits to the extent customary in the locality is permitted to everyone." (Article 141 (3), the so called "Schwammerlparagraph") So in Bavaria it is your constitutional right to enjoy nature :)

I have already left Facebook and Instagram, I still have accounts but I don‘t do anything or look at them. But I might do a farewell video here. I will definitely be uploading music videos, not expecting to get views or earn money, but because I filmed so many beautiful places this year and a half. Ah, you make me want to keep going with this channel. Are you still making videos? Oh! And Merry Christmas to you and yours, too! I think I will be able to wave to you, from Rügen. We have a show there on 27.12. so we even considered driving to Denmark around that time- but I think it will be too cold ?!

I also grew up in a town named Friedberg, but my town is in bavaria😂! This is the reason, the city here is called 'Friedberg in Hessen'. I love my Hometown, but the Friedberg in Hessen looks like a very nice city, too! Thank you for the pictures! 😊

@@LaureninGermany That would indeed be fantastic, Lauren. I am exited to hear more about it. Brainstorming is, by the way, a fantastic tool to come up with bright new concepts. . Life is good. Lots of work and time flies. Only ten weeks till christmas. I have not done any work on my channel. I took your advice and understood that being a youtuber is like running a business. I know something about running a business and know it is not "money for nothing and free chickens" 😁. I will let my ideas on the topic mature before making any serious attempts. To me it seems like those youtubers making most money are the "influencers". Mixing creative content with commercial paid promotion. And i do not want to do that. Either one, or the other. I will get time during my christmas holiday to think more about it. The work i have now suits me well for a period of time. (Building module apartments and mobile homes) At least until i get restless and want some change. 🤔

The Münster even took a direct hit in World War II as an explosive bomb smashed trough the roof directly into the choir room. Miraculously, the bomb was a dud and didnt explode, leaving the Münster nearly undamaged.

It´s so funny, the North Germans hear immediatley that I live in Bavaria! The best was when the Heute Show wrote a post in Bavarian, and the joke was that they didn´t expect anyone to understand it, and I didn´t understand why it was funny, because I understood the Bairisch.... I was literally clueless for a minute.. lol!

@@LaureninGermany The tell-tale sound is your r in grade: In most of Germany, you would expect a [ʁ] sound, i.e. a voiced uvular fricative, whereas some bavarian accents (most notably franconian) use a [ɾ] sound, i.e. voiced alveolar tap (or even a trill). As a singer, I had to train the "Zungen-R", Bavarians have a slight advantage there ;-)

It is surely helpful that the German in your region uses the rolled r, when you were already able to pronounce it correctly. In the past, I tried to teach that sound to so many people, mainly because that sound just isn't part of the German pronunciation (speaking of high German) but is beneficial for singers. Everyone only knows the guttural sound, like the ch in "Ach", for the r, or worse, just a vocalized form of it (e.g. "geane" for gerne).

Es ist so wohltuend in dieser traurigen, aggressiven, tristen Zeit, eine so positive Stimmung (Stimme;-)) zu vernehmen und dabei auf eine so liebe Art und Weiße, noch etwas über unsere Kultur, Land und Leute zu lernen, wie ich dies noch nie so erlebt habe.
