I recently drove an M2 G87 Auto (along with an M3 Manual & X5M) on a drive day. The Tech is a little frustrating when you only have a short period of time to explore the Car, but overall I enjoyed driving it (Tech would be easy to sort if you owned for a couple of weeks). The longer wheelbase / suspension was great on crappy roads compared to my 1M's shorter wheelbase and rock hard suspension (especially over sharp road imperfections). I was a little worried it would ruin the fun of my 1M, but fortunately it didn't, it actually made it more enjoyable, being a Manual and more analogue. I think they are both great Cars for a wide variety of reasons. Long story short, I have recently paid a deposit for the forthcoming M2 CS. Would prefer it if BMW offered this in Manual (very unlikely) but I'd happily live with the ZF 8 Speed Box.

Traction is insane! Mine is lowered and corners so flat it makes no sense. Former E92 M3 owner (11yrs) . This is as good as its going to get for BMW. All nannies can be turned off in the states and stays off. Still remember all the hate from e46 guys..

Unfortunately things like lane assist are mandatory so BMW has no choice. The new M2 is obviously actually a M3 circa 2014

I own a 2011 Porsche 997.2 GTS, and purchased a 2024 FType V8, I intend to keep these cars as they are the last of their era, we run a BMW X5 hybrid that will do nearly 60 miles in Electric, and is incredibly good on my daily commute of 40 miles.

Thank you for this video. As a matter of fact, i personally decide where to spend my money and what car i drive. I will never ever buy a car with all this creepy, useless and stupid technology iniciated by people who have no clue of driving. So i do, and many of the people i talk to are too, do buy older cars. A few of them, older cars and let the car industry build cars no drivers guy ever wants to buy.
