I don’t recommend doing it to narrow rims . But I’m doing it if the rim allows it to be done , so lame presta .

The other HUGE advantage of the Schrader valve is that it's easy to put Slime (or some other sealant) into the tube. I haven't had a ride spoilt by a puncture in over 8 years!

Sorry to sound like a broken record, but... Man! This video is like a breath of fresh air. By far the most thorough, well explained, no B.S. video I have ever seen. You saved me from an S-load of frustration I got from being in the dark about many of the details you plainly laid out. Thank you, sir!

thank you!! I bought a new bike 2 years ago, and rode it 15 miles. The next spring I went to ride it and the tires were flat. That was a year ago and I still can't put air in it.

Great tutorial! One suggestion is to adjust the point of front brake lockup as close to the handlebar as you can keeping in mind the individual that will be riding it. Do NOT lockup the brakes too early as that will send you over the top of the handlebars quicker than you can blink an eye!

😎👍🏽 I'm sorry to say this but the thing is showing on the video is about useless how much type of guy that uses his bicycle pretty much to go everywhere he needs to go it's best to get a 8802 with the green gel stuff in it or if you're like me you get a lot of flat tires because the inner tube tire either dries out or you run something over and it pops it for the third thing and you may be a tad bit heavy and you're trying to drop some weight cuz the tire can only carry your weight for so long so the heavier you are it will wear it out a lot quicker if you are about 2:40 or below and you have a 26 inch tire you should be good cuz they can carry about 240 I might recommend dropping some weight though down to about 2:30 or below it will extend the life of your inner tube after you avoid everything that can pop they should last about 1 to 2 years you could use saddle soap to help keep your inner tube from popping easily but it's just a pain in the ass to do it but it might be worth it but if you want to go completely pop list tires might I recommend stop a flat inner tube tire whatever size you need it's just going to keep the tire from going flat but you have to change the outer tire every 3 to 4 months or when it wears out use the metal levers to help get it off when you put it on cuz it's going to be more different

Yes those presta valves suck. Just walked my bike home. The adapter I had worked poorly, and who knows if the presta might have been broken or what, but I will drill that sucker like my others.

Thanks for the video, I was able to find the correct Freewheel Removal Tool - appreciate the help! One problem, the sprocket was NOT moving. Notice in the video how LARGE the wrench is, it's more than radius of the rim. If you don't have a wrench of this size, you NEED leverage to remove the stuck sprocket. Check out this other video on how to release a STUCK sprocket. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gYemgJ2Qadx2naMsi=qr52-mun6Q5Ur3m4

Yes, you could spend thousands of dollars on an eBike kzbin.infoUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ and get something much higher quality. However, if you're looking for a basic model to try out eBiking this is a great choice. The assembly is easy as far as bikes go (took about an hour for me to do, I'm not an expert). All tools needed are included. I added the plastic mud guards you see and a more comfortable seat. The other reviews are correct that you're probably going to want a better seat (Giddy Up! Bike Seat is what I got - super comfortable). The battery easily handles a 2-4 hour ride if you add some of your own pedal power. I haven't even gotten it up to top speed yet - it is very fast. Components are not top of the line, but decent for the price and work just fine. It works great on dirt roads and singletrack and pavement although too heavy to do tricks or any serious technical mountain biking. I'm looking forward to using it a lot over the summer. Tons of fun!

Great bike , rides smooth kzbin.infoUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L I added a bigger spring loaded seat to it . Takes a bit of adjusting cables to get brakes and shifting to perfect . I've owned quite a few bikes in the past that were absolutely uncomfortable to ride and they always ended up as garage wall decor . I'm not seeing that with this one. It's pretty light I've only ridden it a few miles but I like it . As for the pedals falling off in the other reviews , the pedal arms are aluminum along with the pedal studs look to be also . I would not overtighten them. I can see it would be very easy to overtighten them and strip the threads right off . All in all I think it's pretty good quality besides the aluminum pedal thing .

It went together easily in less than an hour. kzbin.infoUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Make sure the front fork is forward or the pedals will hit the front tire. Tires are both a little soft so it needs air before I ride it. The rear wheel didn't come with a clamp regular bolts hold it on. The front had the clamp. No scratches out of box. Rims are a little off with a slight wobble. They could have spent more time with the spoke tool fixing the run out. So far out of the box I'm happy with it. I did replace the pedals with a nice aftermarket set. After riding it a bit my A$$ is a bit sore so I ordered another seat. Overall I'm nearly 60 and didn't ride a bike in 30 years. I like my new 29" Schwinn. It will be used for casual rides with my friend.

All of your videos are very informative and clear! Thanks for having this channel. I have only one suggestion on this wise conversion. When drilling out the valve hole, step the bits instead of drilling the hole out to the correct size with one pass. That will prevent any elongation of the hole, and allow 2 wall rims to self guide the bit
