thank you so much for making this video! I lost my key and an internal fuse blew inside the battery but it was locked to the bike. With a flattened paperclip and a small strip of hacksaw bent to turn the key, it opened in like 5 seconds

flattenend paperclip and a thin 1/4 piece of metal and about 15 minutes its open!!!!

You don't even need to pick lock it. I've opened them with random keys. Just wiggle it about and it works.

Wrap it in duck tape, leaving just a small, inconspicuous slot for the key. It'll look like garbage and no self-respecting thief would steal it.

I have bafang motor bike too just the battery that is vulnerable? I usually lock my rear wheel to a metal frame bolted to the ground and the front wheel to the frame and to the bolted down metal frame....is that enough with just two locks? can the thieves cut off or remove any other parts of the bike?

on my e moped the same key opens the seat lock the battery bar lock and starts the motorcycle so I guess they all can be open quite easily or started

What if your key won't go all the way into the lock that's my problem I haven't tried to take the battery out for 3 years and something happened to the lock

I've lost keys to the battery lock and the bike ignition. I know I can change the lock cylinder but not sure about the ignition. Any ideas on how I can deal with the lost ignition key. It's a Lifecycle classic 2011 model? Thanks

Some you can and some you can't. Most of them are build not to be repaired.

I tried and tried on my Super73 S1 but couldn't do it. However, a unibit and some swearing worked for me. Wouldn't recommend my approach.
