This performance rips my soul! One of my favorite sixties songs of all time, I blame the influence of Blind Faith for my love of jam bands.

Not my favorite version of this tune, but how tight were they as a band, even back then? Ginger iwas a BEAST!

Only 45 comments here. "Means to an End" is great 👍 I'm enjoying this one. Eric's playing is superb.

It looks like BF expected a smaller audience. They are facing the water with a small space in front of them. And behind? A huge crowd looking at the back of amplifiers! Very strange. Thats all I can figure. You are much more popular and known boys! As you must now be aware. Brilliant concert. So many of you say you were there! That's incredible. Al these years later on KZbin. 🎉

Played this album until worn-out, what a great time to grow up and listen to the amazing music that came out of the era ❤
Every one calls themselves influencers these days but Winwood influenced everyone that came after him .

I missed these guys. They got almost zero conerage in central western PA. Love the blues, may have had something with Jailbait. If I'd known for sure I'd have much more.

Why they didn't play at woodstock?

Clapton graciously left the entire low end open for Rick Gretch and Ginger Baker to inhabit. Nice of him. The Telecaster with the Stratocaster neck helped. I wonder if he still has that guitar?

Clapton seemed to have never really improved from his mid 20’s. I often wonder what that’s all about. I’m guessing alcohol and hard drugs were the culprits.
