I purchased the 10x4 Sigpro Softee last year but have never been a fan of the standing pad sides. They are too soft and spongy for my liking. Does the new Softee Lite version have a firmer stance?

Would these specs work on the FSX play ? specs: Ryzen 7 5700X3D CPU, Nvidia 3060 Ti GPU, 32GB RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD, Windows 11 Pro, this is my deciding factor to go with the Bushnell or to not go with the Bushnell, thank you and look forward to your response

The AMD CPU is listed as “not recommended” for FSX Play. Everything else looks like it would be fine. I don’t know how much of a problem the cpu will be. You may want to reach out to Bushnell or Foresight support and see if it’s possible.

How would you compare the turf of sig pro to ez tee? I’m the minority that feel ez tee grabs more than others.
@user-wz1ux3uv2r
@user-wz1ux3uv2r 3 күн бұрын
I also felt the EZ Tee hybrid was just slightly too grabby to keep long term. The turf on the softy is very similar (it might even be EZ Tee, not sure) BUT I find that it doesn't grab the club at all. I don't know if that's because it's slightly different turf or if it's because the foam underneath allows for some cushion/movement that keeps it from grabbing. You can feel the turf some vs the LITE where the club pretty much slides across the putting turf. Hope that helps.

Thank you! If you're not planning on putting you could probably pick up some artificial turf from Home Depot. Anything you get locally will be cheaper without having to pay for shipping.

Great looking course, hey if you have a min I have a GSPro question for you. I have looked everywhere and cant find the answer to my issue. Somehow I have turned off the distance and elevation change tile when my ball is on the green. So if there are multiple players the only way to get that information is to shoot the pin with the range finder - very cumbersome. What keystroke of game setting will bring that necessary data back to my screen? HELP anyone watching this great channel.

Bobby your content is great, I started similar to you and continue to add to my garage sim. Mevo + to GC quad. I recently bought the IFWater USB cameras off of Amazon. They are replacing 2 logi 4K Brio web cameras. The problem I am running into is that FSX 2000 is only showing one of the cameras, which leads me to believe it is filtering out the other camera as they have the same name. The windows settings shows both with the same name. Did you encounter this problem and figure out how to rename them? All the best and thank you in advance!

I guess I mentioned it a little bit but not much. It’s incredible how much I end up in the same spots on the course. It shouldn’t be surprising but somehow it was. It also confirmed for me how tight my course is with the OB on every hole. It was more obvious comparing to other GSPro courses than in real life where you don’t get to see a Birds Eye view of each hole with OB lines. The important thing seemed to be getting the “in-play” trees right since Pakman can’t really see how tall a tree is from a satellite image. There were several holes like #1 where we went back and made certain trees bigger to block angles. If we hadn’t done that it would have been easier to play the hole differently than real life.

How would you compare Carl’s divot action to SigPro Softy for both realism and joints?
@user-wz1ux3uv2r
@user-wz1ux3uv2r 12 күн бұрын
Unfortunately Carl’s isn’t making this divot action strip anymore. I would have said both are good for the joints but the Carl’s one didn’t quite have as much of a real feel. The softy has longer turf on top which gives it slightly more “turf interaction”. It’s a small difference but something that sets the softy apart.

I noticed this immediately when I used my mates Quad and I have to say… I noticed it because I was leaving everything short lol. I honestly think the Eye Mini is correct on this one. The Eye Mini putting ball speeds are identical to GC3 and also the Hawk that I’ve tested with. For me I think the Quad is slightly off on this one.. I was hitting some putts with the quad thinking man if I hit that on stimp 13 greens it’s gone! 😂😂
@user-wz1ux3uv2r
@user-wz1ux3uv2r 18 күн бұрын
Yup, for those that have used both it’s very obvious. I’m surprised you say the other foresight LM’s match the eye mini. I would think they would all be the same as the quad. It’s been a long time since I’ve used a GC3 so I’ve never had a comparison. I have my suspicions the eye mini is more accurate as well but I’m so used to the quad. Either way it doesn’t translate to the real course for me so it’s just about making putts on the sim.

@williamhumber5890 19 күн бұрын
Could be that they are reporting different things. You could imagine at least three ways of reporting putting speed: one would be what was the speed right after impact, another would be what is the speed once the ball is rolling (i.e. no longer skidding) and the other would be the average speed within the measurement area.

Given Uneekor and Evnroll are now the same company I would think I would have to expect the EyeMini is closer to reality given the expertise they have to lean on. I know there is a speed chart out there for GSPro putts out there somewhere. Maybe do a test comparing both launch monitors to the chart of expected outcomes? As I remember it gives the roll out for each stump in 1/2 mph increments. I have also seen it reported that the folks at GSPro tend manage their logoyithms for each launch monitor that supports putting because they very so much, but again, don’t have a quote or a source to back that up.

Kinda makes you realize the data is just never perfect even on full shots or 5 foot putts Also of note, and I know you said not to look at it, but the horizontal launch angle was almost exactly 1.1 different each time, which I feel like means they’re reading them pretty darn close if aligned exactly together

I have the softy and like it a lot but there are some issues with it for sure. The hitting strip sheds a lot of "green dust" especially when new. After you use it for a while there is a wear spot, but it doesn't really affect the feel and it stops shedding. Second thing is that you should never wear spiked shoes even if they're rubber. Mine wore out in only about 3 months with bald spots from the mat. You may say that it's a no brainer, but my old mat never had any issues with my rubber spikes. The indoor golf shop has a good warranty and they replaced mine, but I hope this helps those with the mat.
