Planning on trying GSPro with my GC2. Really excited for the practice range features. Your video was really helpful in convincing me it’s worth the money over the fsx 2020 that I have been using. Thanks

1) Props for leaving the shank in. There is something darkly redeeming for a mid/high handicapper seeing a scratch golfer hit a shank 😂. 2) I just wanted to compliment you on your speaking ability, and that you are not on a mission to sell something. I love the unbiased opinion of your content. 3) My wish list for version 4.0; putting practice. I would love to see some randomized drills, and games similar to the ones that you just shared for putting. As usual, thanks for the content. Great job!

Hahaha thanks! Shanks happen, especially in the sim when I never warm up properly. Thanks for the compliment and glad you found it helpful! It's not exactly what you're looking for but check out the Joe Lagowski training facility course for a putting ladder drill built in. You'll have to watch his video on how to use the course to figure it out. If you're subscribed to Tekbud's Patreon he has one called Galactic Putting Green that has straight putts from just about every distance. That one is my go-to...

Just downloaded it yesterday but yet to really use it, looks awesome though. Thanks for the vid. Just one thing from early in the vid, in Decade the width you need hazard to hazard (or trouble to trouble) isn't 40 yards it's about 70 yards. That's for a 300 yard drive for a tour pro level of skill and it does come down as distance reduces but it's not going to be as low as 40 yards unless you're only driving the ball 170 yards or so.
@friendly_golferАй бұрын
That makes sense. Obviously it's been a long time since I've watched any of the decade content and figured I might be wrong about the number. I think the number for me was 60 yards based on a 260-270 shot. Thanks for clarifying.
@petei3972Ай бұрын
@@friendly_golfer No probs. Just didn't want you beating yourself up not managing to keep it inside a 40 yard wide window .

A few people corrected me on that. That number's a little more reasonable, lol. It's been a while since I've watched any decade stuff.

I really like the dynamic holes. I like practicing with my wedges so pitch and putt type courses are right up my alley. This allows me to practice at random yardages within a certain range to really dial in my wedge play. Plus the fact that you can do multiplayer takes it to the next level. This software just keeps getting better and better. Can't wait to see what's in store next.

Yup. This was a feature that I did not see coming at all. Pretty awesome.

I wish I could give you 2 likes for including your shank. 🙂 I LOVE the dynamic holes. Not only makes it more interesting but provides the ability to set up your practice exactly as you want. This is fantastic as it will help keep things interesting while practicing. Love it. Quick question... as someone who is planning on buying an eye mini lite soon, provided that I have a GSPro subscription, can you envision a case where I would ever want to use the Uneekor driving range instead? Also, I understand that the EML is not your regular LM but just wondering... do you know if the GSPro provides additional data in their driving range that Uneekor doesn't?
@friendly_golferАй бұрын
There’s quite a few shanks spread throughout my videos lol. The Uneekor driving range software is called View and most people prefer to run View on one screen and GSPro on the other. Instead of looking at the driving range on VIEW people will pull up the club data screen which shows the video replay of impact OR if you have swing cameras you can switch to that screen to see the full swing replays. So VIEW has some really good ways to display data, cameras, etc. but the driving range on it is quite boring. There’s not even a target. So using GSPro and VIEW at the same time is really nice. No GSPro doesn’t provide anything extra that your launch monitor doesn’t. Good luck!

@@friendly_golfer Very cool. I wasn't thinking that you could have both up at the same time. Good info, thanks!

I think that icon that changes the color of the ball on the mini map is a palette.

I bet on the playground would be great practice to move your body and practice aiming at greens .. Otherwise it's always straight.. Aiming is very hard plus find out which eye is dominant or else you could be 15 yard off.

I have a gc3…do you recommend GSPro or would you spend more money (or less!) on a different software if you were doing start fresh?
@friendly_golferАй бұрын
I recommend GSPro to everyone, even if your launch monitor comes with different software. In my opinion it's the most complete software available that has super accurate ball physics, huge course library, online multiplayer, tournaments (SGT), etc. For $250/yr it's the price of 1.5 FSX courses.

Hi, does it run golf swing cameras?
@friendly_golferАй бұрын
Not currently. There’s talk that it will happen someday and I hope it does. You can run different software to capture your swing camera feed separately for now.
