Bro dmc 2 in the chopper boss battle, it took me 50 tries, yes 50 tries to beat but then after I beat it I replayed the game for like another 60 times beat it all 60 times and yeah

kinda rare to see an unbiased and honest opinion on DmC. Though I disagree that it’s good because of connection to the original series. I feel like if it was an independent project, it would’ve had much more to it, as the story was very very very limited with the canon of original series. Also the fact the outrage of changing everything really shot down any chance of continuation I think it had more chances and more opportunities if it wasn’t a byproduct of DMC series. The story could’ve had a better flow instead of having a worse version of an existing plot with few baits and switches and deus ex machinas sprinkled just to move the plot the way they need and not the way they want. Also it wouldn’t have sparked such shitstorm and had a chance for sequel

I'mma just say, Peak of Combat is actually good. What really gets to me is the multiplayer, the actual release allows you to make a team and weave combos based on it. The only real problem I see is the gatcha lends itself to make "Limited" characters have more mechanics than the rest, getting a little p2w.

POC is very good...for a PHONE game. Easily one of the best phone games ever made. I am talking about the current build, the 1.0 combat would be way too advanced and difficult for casual phone users. It's a fun time waster during a bus trip, I have unlocked Count Thunder Vergil who's move set is just the dash slash thing and multiple summon sword spam (which just happens to be the only Vergil attacks I spam in DMC V) with a HOMING Judgement Cut End to top it all off. Still awaiting Gun Dante as a character though...

My current takeaway from the whole trailer is that his hover stance is a gimmick that should’ve been leaned into a little bit more. I think other fighting game characters who have that kind of gimmick have done it way better (Hawkgirl, Fused Zamasu, and Izanami from Blazblue). I don’t think homelander will make me come back to the game but we’ll see I guess
