Hi Little Lulu! This is definitely something to be aware of! We have found that with the small amount if Coconut oil in this recipe it shouldn't cause any issues if you're only using the product once in a while. If this is something you would like to use daily, you could substitute Coconut oil for Castile soap and maybe add a small amount of Jojoba for additional skin-nourishing properties. 💜

Hi Elaine! If you'd like to use this product as a shower scrub, you could substitute Coconut oil with 1 ounce of any of your favorite carrier oils. Jojoba would be a lovely choice! 💜

Hi Elizabeth! The Coconut oil in this recipe is an effective carrier for dispersing the oils so that the oils don't end up sitting neat on the skin. 💜
