I love how simple you make candle making look. It really is a simple process, as I know well, having refilled several of my own candle jars. Having good essential oils is the key to getting good smelling candles!

Great idea to repurpose our yogurt jars. We use the same brand.

Have you uploaded any videos of soya wax candle making? This one is great too... thanks for sharing 🙏💕

We’ve never used soy wax, or palm or gel bases, or color. We’ve kept it pretty simple, and just used beeswax! 💜

I can't wait to make some candles! I've already contacted a few local beekeepers for their wax. Can you tell me how to find the flash points for essential oils? If you can provide a link, that would be great!

I got a big block of beeswax from a local beekeeper-would I grate it before melting to get the right amount? Also, I saw a great tip on another video about using chopsticks to hold the wick in place. Lastly, how do you get excess wax out of container once poured?

Hi Lin! It's wonderful to hear that you have access to local beeswax! Yes, the easiest way to works with a block of it would be to use a grater. We find that wiping the excess melted beeswax with a paper towel and then pouring boiling water over the container helps to remove everything. 💜

It’s a shame that you can’t get a strong enough aroma especially with all that essential oil
