Playing Densha de GO! Professional 2 (2002) with the special Type 2 train controller, this is a original game for the PlayStation 2 by Taito. The complete JR East's Shōnan-Shinjuku Line ( 湘南新宿ライン) run as featured in Densha de GO Professional 2 PS2, driving the 215 series (215系) from Yokohama (横浜) to Shinjuku (新宿).

What an interesting train! I can understand why it was decommissioned but it’s a shame they never saved any to go to a museum. They look awesome. Great run!

@@The_Yamanote Yes, the services it did even got discontinued. I guess the E231's and 233's are just too good at their jobs! Too bad it didnt leave a service behind for a replacement to pick up.

@@meandwhoism Also, having only 4 trainsets made it difficult to assign the 215 to a specific service. And yeah, difficult to compete with the E231 and E233 series for commuter services! 😅

I have a question that I don't know where to ask since there is no information about it: I want to pass this game 100% but the fourth level of the shounan southern district (suspended) always gives me that, suspended, They are lines 1510 and up..all the rest of the lines have an excellent score but it won't let me access the fourth level of the southern district (same train as the one you drive in this level) I can't complete the game for that :( :(

Hi! That's because that train is a weekend service, so it only operates on the weekends and, therefore, its only available for play on weekends. The game checks the internal clock of the PS2 for this, so be sure to play on a Saturday/Sunday or set the internal clock to the required day! 😉
