i have to wonder- what will you use this for if anything? its a uk socket running at us voltage, unless you make your own appliances or change out the plug yourself things are gonna run at half power if at all. i do like the idea of just adding it in for the hell of it though, why not right?

we have a traffic signal based color code system here in NZ. the call lights consist of 3/4 fluorescent tubes (red, green, yellow and in some ICU rooms blue) on a preheat circuit that don't flash, and a speaker that plays various synthesized "DINGDONG DINGDONG" tones. the call boxes have buttons labeled "GENERAL", "SEMI-URGENT", "URGENT" and "CANCEL/RESET". 2:13 : I love how outdated that nurse icon is, really dates the place. (although it would still be reliant in large, busy complexes where nurses are still required to wear that type of stuff, mainly the headgear (flossie) )
