Thank you. People with severe neglect and trauma are not good at regulating themselves and sometimes they have intense reactions. While I took accountability for my self-development, I didn't have the same conditions as 90% of people. Finally someone that doesn't shame or judge, but explains. We are often mistaken and quickly labelled as narcissists by people who saw us for 15 secs, but feel knowledgeable enough to judge. Refreshing

Adhd is an acquired condition.. Recall & Storage of ideas and information is not possible. It's not a moral deliema. Adhd is not a psychiatric disease.. Can be regulated w proper medication and self-care of our mitochondria. If you cannot get treatment because of ALL the denial in Healthcare ; just slow down, self- care #1❤. Stay away from people who pretend your mental. Indignation. Healthcare for a few. Quality for None.

Confession... forgiveness... if we are no longer brought up on the Holy Book there needs to be a community understanding - a book of humanity. I cannot think of anything better than the Bible/Koran/Torah. What you talk about is prayer. But society riducules and is taught to hate religious works. I now live in a spanish catholic community of 400 people. I am healing. It was the right choice for me.

Nurses with bedside manners are the ones left by doctors to deal with the emotional recovery. Then back your family and friends. So lack of carers is an awful hit on us, and that carers are either free or lowly paid is unacceptable and that is down to the greed and egotistical behaviour of surgeons and top managers who take too much and don't share (the old bonuses and dinners and holidays we used to get in the 80s)...

Thank you all for your courage to speak up, not only for the human beings who are under the occupation of the Isreal zionist army but for the Jewish people who are being held hostage by the brainwashing of the Zionists. I am a non-jew I'm just a man who was born in New York City, I grew up in a city with so many cultures and we somehow learned to respect and care for each other we don't hate the Jewish people but we do hate bullies who push others around, there is so much I need to learn about the history of both the Jewish people and the human beings from Gaza.

The only exception to that, is when an individual is strongly connected spiritually to his/her Creator that the lack of social connection with other people does not effect him/her in significant ways. The strength of God overpowers whatever insufficiency that one lacks. And that is through feeling of peace. Peace is the most powerful state of emotion and mind. A person can be surrounded by a lot of people and family members but still feel lonely inside.

Mark, this video touched me… But not that kind of touching. I remember you having a joke about that in one of your before during an after treatment videos. I first learned about you in the early 2000s. You did a show at a rehab right outside of Pittsburgh I worked at called Gateway rehab center. I’ve been clean myself for 25 years this past October. I worked in a different rehab from 2010 to 2020 and we showed those three videos many, many, times. It must’ve been hundreds of times. The patients would request them, and I would happily oblige. I would rather watch those videos than any other videos we had. They made us laugh, and they made us cry. I’ve retold several of your jokes. I’ve always loved the one about shooting up coffee. Anyways, I’ve told many people about you and encourage them to watch your videos on KZbin. Humor is an amazing thing in recovery. Especially to be able to laugh about ourselves/not take ourselves too seriously. I watched this video today Because it fits well with my situation. By the way, it was great to see Julee ( I won’t say your wife) in this video as in one of the DVDs you mentioned about meeting her and getting married and how the relationship was going. So I watched this video today because unfortunately, I found myself in a similar situation. Married for 10 years, with an eight-year-old, and, approaching divorce. Since I’ve been married, my recovery program has sucked. I’ve been recently thinking “what would Mark do“ since I know from a more recent video that you’re now divorced. So today I googled Mark Lundholm and divorce and I found this video. Thank you both for making this.

Doctor, i have so many questions. I would like yo ask that, from the moment that it us a coping mechanism, why do the doctors say that you get born with that? Why do people get diagnosed in families with one or two parents with the same problem? Why do they say about the role of dopamine? Why is it impossible to focus on something even if you are trying and you want to do it and you recognize the importance of a deadline? Why is it common in people with problems of thyroid, why do they say that 1/3 of the people with adhd are candidates for severe psychological diseases? Why do the tests show problems of perception in the right or left half of the brain? Excuse for my many questions. But i would like to know. Thank you very much for your contribution, your helpful videos and your knowledge!!!!

Gabor is from Vancouver. In Vancouver there are free drugs and addicts are not in rehab but given more drugs. Mentally ill are on the street. Gabor never advocated for proper care of these people. And really, addict are only concerned with the next fix, not shame.

Amen 🙏🏼 Jesus came to give life and give it abundantly ❤ HE preached a message of love that the Pharisees couldn’t understand they where looking for a King that was going to destroy their enemies not tell us to love our enemies. Religion has made an even bigger mess of this message If you really want to know Jesus you have to read the Bible for yourself asking the Holy Spirit to help you understand

I think ADHD is probably a mixture of genetics and environment. It's like the nurture vs nature argument. The modern life creates stress which creates trauma which creates dysregulation. I've noticed my attention span and impulsivity has been problematic when I am in stress. And also having to deal with fast paced society.
