Thank you, I just came from your video about leaving Adonis gang, been following Hamza for a couple years and couldn't help but notice his ego and a lot of contradictions and plot holes in his content. The base message kinda made sense but nowadays doesn't seem useful or helpful. Back on topic though, I appreciate your content. Simple, realistic, and a much more effective way to go about life. We continue to indulge because it's fun. Anything we make fun, were likely to keep doing, and that's a view I've recently come across and it's exciting to see that I'm not the only one! Keep on keeping on :) looking forward to the next upload, whenever that may be

Absolutely true! That's also what I'm preaching on my channel. I remember when in the beginning of last year, the whole "Monk mode" trend started to grow and EVERYONE started to parrot it. I saw through the BS and knew it was a cope from the start. Monk mode is only useful if you're already successful in other areas of life & trying to reach the next milestone in your career.

I rarely comment on these smaller videos/channels that get recommended to me about self help and stuff like that, because theres a lot. But I just had to drop past and leave a comment because I agree that the whole 'monk mode' thing is bullshit. A huge problem with a lot of self help/productivity/pseudo-finance bubble content on youtube is the agenda pushing. These big channels making it seem really epic and amazing and lifechanging if you go on 'monk mode' and cut people out of your life for half a year that you will cause a revolution for your life, to just abandon all the things you're used to. And it's just bullshit. The people who make those videos and preach it don't even do any of that, there is no fucking way those content creators actually do that or ever did that (more evidenced by the fact they still live normal lives, normal upload schedules, post on social media themselves etc). And the monk mode thing isn't the only case of that, just a lot of the self help/productivity youtubers talk about stuff that theyve never even applied themselves but just rehash random ideas they came across and present them as videos for clicks and views and its just all so bullshit.

Hi, I am super glad I've found your channel. The video I clicked on was about "How destructive was Adonis School" It interested me to the point I instantly clicked on it. It really opened my eyes that there are really other perspectives than the Hamza's. I am influenced by his way of thinking a lot, that was my favorite KZbin to watch and I see how much impact it had on my life. There were a lot of benefits but there are many downsides. After watching Your video I realized that I wasn't living aligned with my true self and actually that I've changed my mind every time Hamza brings some new concept to the table. Literally, I realized that the impact of his way of thinking and actually making you feel bad if you don't implement his stuff in your life had big consequences. It had a big influence on me Breaking up with my ex-gf, still, I don't think it was a bad decision but I remember that every time she didn't act like an "Anastazia" (female adonis substitute) I was kinda sad/angry even if the action wasn't bad, it was just the way "Anastazia" wouldn't behave. His perfectionistic Thinking of "Wife Material Girl and overall relationship" really damaged my life by giving me anxiety/sadness every time someone didn't fit his rules of relationship. Your video really helped me to understand that I should use my Critical Thinking more often. I would definitely stick around your channel for a long. I thought I was a very very-minded 17-year-old but now I see how easy it is to manipulate me. Once again keep up your work just giving advice and not forcing nor condemning other ways of thinking. Do you have any tips on how to "unwire" these damaging beliefs and relieve the "true self" way of thinking and analyzing things, I would be very grateful. God Bless

Great video bro, I really resonate with your perspective. I feel like finding your own way is scary but once you’re on it, it feels like you are in alignment with your own path it feels powerful in a non egocentric sense. Also about competition too, feel like that made me live life in an anxious way instead of just living in truth

- I actually realised this when I was 1 year into "self-improvement" portrayed by the big creators. - I found out you don't need to do everything they say. - You don't need cold showers & meditation if you're a sane person who doesn't watch short form content or have bad habits. - What you need is self reflection and an honest talk with oneself. - You need to realise stuff what actually matters to you and focus what matters RIGHT NOW, which will benefit you in the future. By the way, awesome video, I'm glad people are finally realising this bs. <3

Awesome video! I appreciate the point you made on Ego, it's easy to fall into that trap... I never said the phrase "I'm on self improvement" out loud because I thought it was a little strange of a thing to say, because a lot of people want to further develop themselves and saying that doesn't distinguish me in any way. However, while I don't really follow the "cookie cutter" self-improvement life anymore, I'm grateful for the times that I have at some points in my life, where I've been "brainwashed" into thinking I have to meditate every day. The truth is, I genuinely think it would be better if I meditated every day, however, hearing these online influencers (pretty much just Hamza) saying "If you don't do this you're a loser" built this drive in me to a whole nother level. This lead me to a 144 day medito streak at one point. It's very hard to build a habit when it's hard to see the benefits, and meditation is one of those habits. This peer pressure is valuable because it places your inner critic in your favor. The voice of "don't do this bad habit" is strong. I want my mind to work in my favor. One of the chapters in "How to win friends and influence people" is to throw down a challenge because people respond really well to these challenges. Recently I've been struggling a little more with placing my inner critic in my favor because now that I don't exactly have a cookie cutter plan and I'm figuring out how to create my own. However, I think that the best way to keep that inner critic while removing the cookie-cutter-ness of it is to have a good body of friends around you that criticize you regularly (out of love). That way you're thinking: "What would X say about me skipping a day of mediation" Nowdays a lot of people (especially younger people) use content consumption to replace friends but the thing is, content creators don't know you but your friends do, so all a content creator can do is give a cookie-cutter version while a friend can customize feedback to your own interests

I appreciate this video Greg! I got this anxiety, thinking, that I needed to get things figured out now. I'm currently 17 and I pretty much spent the entirety of summer when I was 16 building this app with the thought "I need to get this out soon, make it the best app I can possibly make, and get a shit ton of money" and that rush was rather counter productive. Also, I recently started this youtube channel and put my first video out, but then I realized I could barely speak without a script. I do think that I explained interesting concepts and made a rather unique and helpful video, but the thing is I was reading from a script the whole time, because when I tried going off script, I could barely speak. So, I then realized that if I'm unable to explain the content of my video effectively without consulting with a script, I probably don't have enough life experience to fully understand the content myself. Along with being a sign that I need to improve my life experience, it's also a sign that I need to improve my speaking abilities. I'm really considering just coming back to this in a few months when I'm more experienced with this kinda stuff and that'll make a massive difference in content quality. While I'm mostly convinced, I do have some objections to your arguments though and I'm interested in seeing how you'd respond. You said that it'd be better to spend that time developing yourself rather than developing your channel, where one of the things you need to develop is masculine drive and discipline. Isn't starting your own difficult project (such as a youtube channel) an effective way of doing this? Isn't it just killing two birds with one stone? Also, my second objection is, if you're goal is entrepreneurship, why not just include that into practices of developing yourself? It doesn't matter if you're young and bad at it. After all, one of the most effective ways to increase your bench press is by practicing bench press, so the person who starts benching at 15 will have a higher bench at 25 then the person who starts benching at 20 when they're 25 (assuming genetics aren't too uneven)

That’s definitely not my point of view bro. The point is that spending time doing ‘self-improvement’ stuff is mostly a cope for not taking action on things that actually matter and that will enable you to make real progress. The good habits and reading books etc are certainly not bad, but when they become the only things that you spend your day doing, it creates the illusion that you’re improving yourself, when in reality you’re not actually doing anything.

Extreme W video Greg g, couldn’t have said it better myself 👍 Self improvement should be used for its prime purpose alone-to serve you into a better way of living, and if not better, than virtually the best way you can live within your power. This all stems from the idea of fulfilment, and a lot of young men unfortunately don’t have conscious capacity to “zoom out” and realise that a lot of the self improvement content that they consume is virtually just advice tailored specifically only to the person who is preaching it. We are all different people at the end of the day, so that’s why preaching concepts-such as the main idea of this video-is so vital to actual improvement, especially when compared with what influencers like Hamza do in their videos, which is essentially them telling you directly and indirectly what to do and what not do, effectively trapping you in a mental prison where you are only validated when you are practicing what they preach to do and resent yourself whenever you are doing something or in a position that is unfavourable to their values/beliefs. Oh and let’s not forget how utterly feminine these self-proclaimed “alpha male influencers” through them constantly changing their minds every fucking week on their views and shrouding it under ‘growth’, whilst still influencing young men in the process on an idea/viewpoint that’s only likely to change again! Moral of the story, we know ourselves better than anyone, and as soon as we start acting in accordance with our genuine and authentic interests and beliefs-whilst occasionally opening ourselves up to guidance when we hit a wall and can’t find the answers on our own-then through this new way of living we will truly be able to cultivate the highest-sense of fulfilment we can experience, and actually be able to say that we are actively living as our best selves. ✊

Quick question; how does talking to people improve my situation? Most people are dicks to me for no apparent reason, before I have even said anything. I'm an introvert. I don't like people, and I don't want people to like me because they are often insecure, capricious, and arrogant. I tend to believe people when they show me what they are. There are very few decent people left now, they are all peacocking because of social media, and monkey see, monkey do!

A lot of people I know follow "disciples" like Andrew Tate in an attempt to be "more of a man" or whatever. But I've always seen masculinity as more of a leader than a follower, more respectful than narcissistic, more cooperative than arrogant and combative. If men are the guardians, protectors, and maintainers of civilization, then these traits are what defines masculinity. Not being a pretentious douchebag like Tate. What I've sadly noticed of Tate's flock is this; no positive male role model or father figure present in their life. Which is why these men look to business men/influencers to sell them a cure which is actually just a disease. They are easy customers, because they are desperate. If Tate's advice was useful, his followers wouldn't need to pay for his courses anymore or watch his videos, because they would be successful. Tate is an intelligent businessman, and nothing is better in business than repeat customers. Be your own man. Be authentic. Create your own values. That's how you attract a decent woman that is compatible with you, and that's how you attract like-minded people to befriend. Don't be a blind lamb following the blind. You'll only ever encounter other lambs eating from the same trough. Peace!

I don't have enough money to move and I also have some mental illnesses which probably wouldn't allow me to move and live on my own right now. Also I'm short and skinny so I would just get made fun of at those clubs and probably beat up by some 2m tall muscular Gigachad.
