Looks like the cheap one might have more stamped metal parts. Lighter gage steel?

Good video. I’ve been checking out the Sany. Good to see the sunward review. Do your undercarriage a favor. Clean it out before it causes damage on your drives sprockets

I’ve spent about 100 hours on the 155 and I liked it. Especially for the price. I would really like to get their 210 Machine. Little over 50,000 pounds, would be perfect for the dirt pit and land clearing jobs

I got the Wacker Neuson SM100 powered by a 24.7 horsepower Yanmar diesel engine, and it blew the headgasket and warped the heads at 180h ... it got covered under dealer warranty thankfully
@dig_it_starnes52229 күн бұрын
That’s wild! Glad it was all covered. I have a 333G with over 3,000 hours on the yanmar engine. No actual mechanical failures. Just some bs stuff like coolant tank and turbo boot

I want one. I think I'd take a chance on it over more expensive popular brands. These are a big brand machine overseas like Shantui, Sany, XCMG, and more. Open source parts. I like that
@dig_it_starnes522211 күн бұрын
Once you get your hands on a “Chinese” machine. You’ll see how many parts are the exact same even on big brands. Just without logo stamped on them. Reality of the matter is most American brand machines are made mostly overseas. If you can get the same quality of service and reliability it’s hard for a small business to spend the extra 30-50% just to have a name. I wish things weren’t that way. It’s all about profits and the shareholders. In all reality no equipment brand truly cares about the consumer, as long as they are buying something because they don’t have a choice
@technicalitems73111 күн бұрын
@@dig_it_starnes5222 damn. What a good way to put it. I agree. No one is coming to save us. The very people who are doing this to us get bailed out while they set it up this way and prey on our brand identities and false patriotism. I own lots of cat and deere etc... and the damn stuff is made all over the world. And they are usually a$$h0les who don't care about service or loyalty. We have to play the game back to these fckrs. Go around the diversion and get smart. It's like Harbor Freight...it gets the job done. I've heard people say..."a man is only good as his tools"...or..."buy once cry once". It's a mental limitation. I have a friend who will not be seen on any motorcycle except for a Harley. I ride whatever I have or can afford at the time. I buy different brands and have fun trying them all. I told him..."while you are complaining that you aren't getting to ride I'm riding...my Honda". It's a limited mind scenario. It's like a roof leak. Sometimes you need to throw a tarp over it so you can make it to payday. Sometimes it's like buying furniture at various name brand stores...you may want French antiques...Bed Bath and Beyond...or Badcock.......sometimes Badcock is better than no cock at all!

Sorry it’s been so long! Been trying to keep work flowing and get settled into the new property. The business and my various responsibilities always come firstbefore I’m able to do things like this. As we get into a more stable situation this season I hope to put out a new video once a week. I aim to make more frequent, and better quality videos as the weeks go on and incorporate as much cool stuff as I can. Make sure to follow along!

The argument cheap vs. expensive in bringing up China is nonsensical, because (unfortunately) all primary material sources, components, engines are already made there.

These little machines are not TOYS! I have a 1 ton mini from China for my 1 acre property and it never let's me down...changed my entire property and saved tens of thousands just buying the excavator instead of hiring a company to do the work!

Most concerning to me about Chinese equipment is you’re one component away from owning a boat anchor. After sales support is crucial .

You’re going to feel like you have riding a bronco bucking bull after operating this machine all day ( Chinese) see the way the rear of machine lifts when under load and lifting it bangs back down just observe the guy operating machine see how he bounces around I’ve had small machines trust me if they bounce you around all day while you’re working them you’re going to need a good chiropractor

Is the canopy designed as a rollover protection system? That would be great! that's a missing feature that makes me hesitate. I thought it would just crush. The Yanmar's roll bar looks like a proper rollover system.

I have a Struck and I love it. The best part that few people talk about is they are extremely easy to maintain. Unlike most manufacturers, there are no proprietary parts to these things. Most wear items can be obtained at the local tractor store, auto store, or online. There is no special Struck hydraulic fluid or filter, there are no special Struck hydraulic lines, there is no special Struck anything. So even though they may seem “just as expensive” at first, you aren’t owned by Struck after purchase. Second thing that should be mentioned. Their customer service is unbelievably good. If you actually do order parts from them, you are talking to someone in Wisconsin. Then if you have a question they will patch you over to a person that actually builds the things. I own a Kubota tractor and a Struck mini dozer. They each have their own benefits and drawbacks.
