You tried your best to undermine and undercut the Moors and their historical legacy. “Spain was empty and everyone could have take it” “Childish fight over Solomon’s table” which minutes before you said to be a myth.. Anyway, 800 years of Moors ruling of Spain despite your ego. You can travel to Spain and see the architecture of the life it was.

The only achievement of civilization was the fall of this wicked society that opressed both mozarabs and Christian Iberian Kingdoms for far too long, its fall was inevitable, lucky it lasted 3 centuries, 3 centuries too long. But finally, Hispania starts to whisper "At last, the demon has been cat out, help me O Christians help me like our Lord Jesus did with the madman of gadara and free me from the demons called arabs and berbers"

You actually gave me a good idea - I just created another playlist called ‘reconquista’ which has all the video compilations of this Iberian history.

The video has an anti-Western tone when mentioning religious motivations and the Holy Crusades.

If you say so - I try and keep this as neutral as possible

As a Catholic I find the video very neutral.
@FlashPointHxКүн бұрын
@@ab-fi6ks people sometimes bring viewpoints that are almost subconscious to my videos - in my Reconquista series I was accused of being both pro-Islam and pro-Christian for the same video.

there's a prevailing misconception among many historians that Portugal's global maritime empire was centered primarily around trade and commerce, when in fact that couldn't be further from the truth, as the historical record indicates they had a strong crusading & religious component to their empire . but the fact is they were highly aggressive and ruthless, instilling fear around the globe among many different peoples and cultures. just mentioning the Portuguese would elicit dread among local populations. Muslims in particular were always in grave danger, as the official charter of Portugal's empire was to wage war against Islam & spread Christianity.

Wait till you get to Vasco da Gama Part 3 and the 'incident' with the Miri
@bconni2Күн бұрын
@@FlashPointHx i'm familiar with the Miri. sadly a dark day in history. but the Portuguese controlled their shipping lanes like fundamentalists. if they captured you in their waters, it would more than likely end up being a very gory scenario. especially for Muslims

❤'d it! Most Excellent Production 🎉 --- Every time you say "ecclesiastical history" what follows is naught but a plethora of inane lies pulled directly from arse as they are most adept at creating throughout their history...but it does serve to occasionally cast a slightly comic hew upon a rather dark story.

Thing is.. it will happen again! A super plague! Like we almost had with the Ebola outbreak which luckily was contained. But that could've a really bad one, with a very high death rate. there wasn't and still isn't a cure! COVID also should remind us all of just how fragile we all are here on this tiny little rock. We're so ungrateful!!!
