Was there a reason why marlize told team flash that even if they brought team arrow, the legends, supergirl, devoe would still beat them. That makes no sense since if they brought supergirl, she would beat him with ease since she is super strong but the legends would beat him easily too. Was that because they didn’t want to do the crossover thing or just say it and not show it so we assume it’s true

The Flash What would happen if the show was actually like the comics. I know that it was like the comics but they changed things. They changed a couple things like post crisis, Barry’s mom was dead and the dad went to jail, Wally was the flash while Barry was dead for a decade though I don’t remember if they brought him back in darkest nights? Cisco and Caitlin would still exist though they probably used them for the show since it would be fun even for the comics, Vibe and Flash would only meet like for meetings and maybe a couple missions and that’s it. They probably would have made the flash like probably a couple years like late 20’s or early 30’s. With Wally, he might be the protagonist with Linda and his friends and stuff.

I think maybe Kessler bringing up Billy's cheating is a foreshadowing that when he and Queen Maeve got together, the second naturally created supe was conceived. Would be one heck of a twist for season 5

To be fair, Kessler brings up Maeve specifically, and we saw that moment happen last season, so while it would be an interesting twist, I don't think Butcher cheating was foreshadowing that

I agreed basically all that was in the vid and YEAH NO VIDEO IVE SAW HAS BROUGHT UO THE POINT STARLIGHT SAID THE SAME SHIT HUGHIE LAST SEASON AND NOW SHES HESITANT HEARING IT BACK.MM WAS SHOCKED TOO AND I WAS LIKE HUNNNNH DOES SEASON 3 NOT EXIST LOL. Everything aside the reason Neumann was cut by the knife in my opinion and can only be inferred is she has to activate her powers as you she did to survive homelanders laser there might be something to contradict that and if there lowkey nothing but bad writing. I’m like 98% those are how her powers work go back to homelander reveal scene which I think is on KZbin to see what I’m talking about. But overall this season really disappointed me. The politics jokes kinda made it funny and made me weirdly observant of our current world but yeah. Lowkey suprised A-train didn’t look like blue hawk on the floor from how hard he carried this season. I’d prob give it a 6.5 like it really really really really disappointed me especially because I just started watching the boys in entirety starting about 2 weeks ago and season 4 felt like such a letdown compared every other season espically season 3 which built off everything in the series perfectly. This season really could’ve been handled better

@@GingerAls i liked it too for what it is, im just saying the fights are always PUNCH - cut to other person - PUNCH - cut to other person & repeat. & the 1 million cuts during actual hits are jarring. they just need a good hand to hand fight choreographer, when theyre using their powers its actually fun to watch

there was a few things that couldve been done way better or just not at all (one being Colin & Frenchie's past not really going anywhere bc he's the same person at the end of the season just more "sorry" so it felt forced in), but mfs want the show to wrap everything up a season early

I feel like you dont understand the butcher and kessler relationship.. kessler is the side of butcher that really hates supes. So its not surprising when butcher decides to go genocidal

I understand that, my points about Kessler were: 1) I don't feel like there's a proper relationship there because they say "out of all the people your fucked up mind could've picked, you picked me" referring to Kessler. There isn't a basis for the relationship between Butcher and Kessler, so having him as the face of Butcher's villain arc feels weird. And 2) I felt that Butcher agreed to Kessler's plan too fast

@@GingerAls He saw his, basically son (Ryan) kill someone he regarded as a great friend (Mallory) and show absolutely no remorse. Also, he already had the pain of his wife being raped by homelander, his head is also messed up because of the tumor causing him to make bad decisions. I think that his hatred for supes had been building throughout the entire show, and after Ryan killed Mallory, confirming him as a lost cause, did butcher want to go through with the plan.

@@GingerAls i honestly it took Butcher waaay too long to actually go with his plan. Since season 1 we wrre exposed to his mentality that no super should be alive. He takes Hughie on that anonymous meetings to try and convince him of that lol. To me, butcher wanting to go genocidal with the supes is the only natural conclusion to his arc. We always see him getting screwed over because of supes. He lost his wive TWICE because of them, so no wonder he thinks none of them are worth

Lets just agree this was a filler season, orignal frenchie side story about grandkids of Mallory and Lamp Lighter was way way better than him fucking a man whos family he k!lled... And where did it went? Fucking nowhere they ditched it and this was the same for Kimiko and Hughie, and A train... And Deep... This season was just a filler and it was a poor attempt on retrying what they did in S3. Don't get me started on how they wasted Tek Knight, someone they teased since S1

season 4 is the worst compared to the peak the boys was seasons 1 to 3, but its still a solid 7/10, which for a show to have its worst rated as a 7 is actually really good

I agree with a lot of your points however I disagree entirely about the Butcher, Ryan, Mallory instance. Yes Butcher was still okay with Ryan even after Becca because it was 110% an accident they both knew that he couldn't control his powers yet. Butcher seeing Ryan kill Grace out of his own will and walking off emotionless was his last straw. That was the final moment he knew Ryan was too far gone now (because yes of what Grace said to him) and that's why Kessler immediately appears and Butcher's like mmmmm yeah it's time. So all of that made total sense to me other than that this season is definitely filled with more plot holes than I can count and endless pointless storylines and character arcs.

intentional or not, which it wasn’t, ryan was emotionless regardless. his grandmother figure just died to his own doing and he had no reaction and left butcher. that circumstance didn’t have any possibility for reasoning, and kessler is literally a part of his mind.

whole point of butcher’s character was that he’s rotten and that he does rotten shit, and it only festers if he doesn’t have hope or people to ground him. he told kessler that ryan was the reason he was grounded, and once that went out the window, he returned to his ways. you act butcher being a genocidal maniac was so off brand for him

@@GingerAls dude do you take everything out of context? butcher is not a good guy, through out those 7 episodes, every time someone mentions butcher being back in the boys, it’s a unanimous no. a person like butcher with a horrible past and pretty hardset on his ways, can’t change easily. if you haven’t noticed, real life people in general can’t change their moral compass like that. ryan made butcher stick to a better moral compass more than anything, even hughie, so when he murdered his grandmother figure and went on, why would he keep that hope?

homelander can control the power of his laser vision, and even at full power, it’s not that strong. it’s like no fan watches the show, so many instances where homelander uses his laser vision with control, yet it goes over your heads like nothing. also, a swarm of V’d up animals that they don’t even know what they’re capable of, why would she stand and see what she could do to them 1 by 1 when there’s a barn you can take shelter in, along with every other person running towards it?

A-Trains development was nice and I wish more of the Vought purge was explored. I believe the shapeshifters plan to kill the president was all Sage and not Homelander but they didn’t really do a lot to show that

If there was anything that could've properly fit the quota for a "big reveal", that would've been it. I love the way that turned out, I just wish they weren't so focused on giving big reveals that werent properly set up

I thought that this was a decent season of the show. I definitely agree with your thoughts on Hughie being tortured this season. It was very hard to watch, and halted my ambition to do a rewatch of those episodes. A-Train and Sage were by far the standout characters in my opinion. I thought that A-Train had such a strong arc and was used perfectly throughout the season. Every scene he was in was great. The same could be said for Sage as well. I liked her role as the brains behind the operation for Homelander's takeover. I also like how she is a person whom Homelander actually respects, not out of fascination like Butcher, or a parental fear like Stan Edgar and Barbara, but genuine respect for her knowledge and insightfulness. I think that this season was going to be marred by the fact that its major job was to be a set up for the finale, so I'll be somewhat forgiving because of that, but I hope that we don't see the Boys split off into their own side stories like in this season, because as we saw the season suffered because of it. The individual storylines for the characters were mostly weak across save for a few characters(A-Train, Homelander, Mother's Milks, Victoria Neuman, and Sage). I hope that season 5 rectifies this issue. Overall this was an okay season, I think that it is the weakest of the show by far, but it's not bad television. I wasn't bored for most of the season, and was entertained for the most part. If I had to give the season a rating, I'd give it a 7.5/10.

I agree that A-Train and Sage were great, until Sage's plans started being a bit too convenient, like having A-Train leak exactly what she wanted. There's no way to guarantee that, or guarantee how The Boys would handle that info. I can definitely tell that this was a transitional season, so I only hope that season 5 is really good, 'cause then I can overlook the way this season progressed.

My problem is that every time there's a "smartest character in the world", their intelligence is based more in premonitions rather than actual intelligence. Sage had plans, I'm not saying her plans were bad, I'm saying that some of them relied on information she wouldn't have actually had. She had no way of guaranteeing what A-Train would leak, and how The Boys would react to that information. Those areas are things that her plan couldn't possibly account for, because she wouldn't know exactly how it would play out
