i have noticed you did not leave it to reach set temperature,otherwise we would see the actual behaviour when it reaches the set temp.It is an aspect NO ONE speaks about,but i really think they do not understand and avoid speaking of this

How do I change from Celsius to Fahrenheit?
@overtorqued211424 күн бұрын
If you keep your mix under 10% waste oil to 90% + on the diesel side you won't have this
@overtorqued211426 күн бұрын
You can run these heaters safely with about 5 to 10 percent used oil to 90 % diesel mix

Here in the states, you use to be able to get k1 kerosene at any pump, now it's gone can't find it anywhere in my area of the east coast of the USA, we are forced to buy it from like tractor supply 5 gallon for 50 to 60 dollars, here we do off road is what we call it here, red diesel, that's super cheap here, so that what I burn.

Nobody ever mentions if their used oil is conventional or synthetic. There is a difference and synthetic requires higher temps to burn......maybe u tried to burn synthetic or synthetic blend???

I have essentially the 800 W version of the same type of Generac, bought to be a backup to charge batteries in my Solar Electric System. Before starting, I lay the generator on its left side then on its right side for about a second each to help lubricate inside the engine after storage. Anxiously waiting for the new videos of the generac, and of the waste oil heater.
@johnwyman6126Ай бұрын
Did you change the fuel flow and the air flow ratios? It looks like your mixture is way off as in way too rich. You have to get into the secret menu on the controller in order to change them. There is instructions on KZbin how to do that.

You can make a wire harness extension easily. It is only 3 wires, just solder and heat shrink your connections. I did it for mine

If you are from the USA in Alaska when it's -60 they thin diesel with gasoline so it will ignite and run a diesel engine , saying that you can change your mixture to your altitude air density and temperature, if you study meteorology [THE weather } you will understand what they are trying to do in APINE MODE ! saying that WHAT THERE BETCH MARK IS [ i dont know} You would have to know what china's {ASL above seas level}is to where you live. It sure is fun watching these vids after i purchased and waiting for my first heater.. Hopefully it gets here before WWIII...................... i have diesel generators and cars my used oil is thinned filtered and put in the tank been doing it for ten years [FILTER IT AFTER YOU THIN IT } WORKS VERY GOOD

Lets see, I'm going to get a diesel heater and burn waste oil in it. Why not just get a waste oil heater? It's a diesel heater. Why are so many people using waste oil when it does not work long term? How many videos are on here showing that it does not work? Why?

It’s so wild how complicated this is. I think I’m terms of User interface usability, I’d prefer an entire keypad with many buttons, instead of the press-and-hold 2 buttons simultaneously. You almost need a masters degree for this, and I can’t just attribute that to the language barrier between Chinese and English either. Woosh, thanks for explaining it and sharing! I’ve spent 25 years as a software engineer, almost exclusively on User interfaces (“front end”) and I’m not a “user experience” expert, but this would be such an excellent interview challenge for UX designers. A gold mine, really. How would you design it better? What would you take away? What buttons would you add? Apple would do it nicely I’m sure. Steve Jobs, we need ya man!

Did the reeds hold up? I had an old builder tell me if im gonna use the saw as a work saw, to leave the reed stop in so i dont get a snapped reed. He said if its gonna be a hot rod show runner, it was ok to leave the reed stop out. Just wondering how yours has held up over time. He explained how to tune the reeds as well, but mine gave such a huge boost in power that i was pleased enough to leave them as is with the reed stop in place. Mine is a 655BP with other mods as well.

The pump is a metering device(and pump). The heater uses a drip feed. The fuel is not sprayed into the heater. The type and length of the pipe does not make any different.
