The only reason Leffen got away with his BS is because he got signed for TSM, and TSM branding at the time was probably the best in all of esports. Every single tournament organiser wanted TSM branded exposed in their tournament because people just think it will make orbiters gravitate towards their tournaments How he got signed for TSM in the first place is beyond me TSM is a shadow of their former self, and certain controversies cement this very fact. Yet, in a bizarre twist of events... Leffen is still actively signing with them. Its almost like he's terrified nobody else will sign him, or his leverage over the community will fade if he leaves The moment TSM vanishes, he will too.

its interesting how most people love this gamemode but almost nobody talk about his balanced side.. againts control points or king of the hill paylod in most cases is unbalanced for red team and maybe from all main gamemodes is the worst balanced gamemode. Blue cart is moving unlimited dispencer so its easy to pushing it againts Red team that must only depend on Medic or Engi. Control points or king of the hill point dont giving heal or ammo so its more fair for red team defend this objectives. In my long expirences, when is payload match and both teams are on +- same skill levels, in the most matches is winner blue team bcs easy camping. REd team have high chance to win only if blue team dont have players on same skill levels. BTW with small teams its more easy for blue win match too. So this is why i start prefer classic CP or KOTH.

Meh. So is fire DOT (like poison) or punctual? We act like fire can *only* be a sprayer which ignores fire bullets, swords, bombs, etc and we have non-flame sprayers (Mei Overwatch, sprayer in Bioshock 1). And it isn't crowd control because fire almost never slows enemies, and never has in TF2. The PK fire that NES uses stuns which is completely different from Kirby, Starfox, Mario, etc who have fire attacks. So "fire" is just.... anything. It means nothing.

to be fair, splatoon’s tower control gamemode having little in the way of deep story isn’t a blunder on the game’s part, but intentional. it’s not like they tried to give it story elements and failed on the execution, like overwatch, but it’s just that in splatoon canon, all the games you play are just games to the characters as well. ur just playing sports. it’s like expecting a soccer game to have a narrative arc. in the hero modes of the splatoon games, multiplayer ranked modes are actually incorporated into the single player in a way. sometimes just ported into singleplayer verbatim, like some of the kettles in the earlier games’ hero modes, or stations in octo expansion, or floors in side order, or altered a little more substantially and placed in plot relevant sections of the campaign, like the core escorting phase in octo expansion, aka. a payload mission

To be clear first I am a tf2 player. Why at 12:03 are we talking about overwatches payloads having no point at all but saying tf2s are ok cuz "you can just make up the story yourself" but can't for overwatch?

Im new to tf2, have been playing a bit and ended up in a lobby with mostly friendlies, they chilled and emoted, had fun. I initially was annoyed, wanting to capture the points and just win. But after a while of refusing to give up and leave, I chilled out more, switched over to soldier to rocket jump, learned how to salute, took my time figuring out how to call out things like spy. Hasnt happened in another game. Not used to that in shooters. But happy I chilled out and took time to learn

lets be real if there was vc assholes would say the most cringe things creepy stuff or just blurt out racist shit or overly loud sounds to get attention.

Just a setting to turn community cosmetics invisible would be wonderful. Hopefully that'd keep everyone happy. I love the original art-style but I also think the newer stuff can be fun and isn't fun the whole point? It's hard to say one side is wrong. The team recognition issue needs to fixed though, no doubt about that. Ive been playing since the beginning and i still struggle with it sometimes.

the chatroom concept is how i felt playing cod in the early days of PS3. everyone used to speak on mic in open lobbies and sometimes the same people would stay in the same lobbies for a while leading to friendships overtime and adding people in consoles to play other games! but then the party system was created and people would enter lobbies already in a party and never talking or associating with anyone outside the group they came with in game, thats when i really noticed the lack of social aspects in video games as the gaming landscape changed during the ps4 and xbox one era. webfishing seems to revive that concept of 3rd place or as you said the chatroom concept in how people make friends, i def need to buy this game already so i can play because tbh this looks fun and great
