I've said it before, and I'll say it again:Pike are absolutely AGGRAVATING!!!! These things will chase everything else out of the way, sit there and look at your Lure (Or Bait), & waste your time, trying to figure out if he's gonna strike or not...and they just plug up the whole scene! No other Fish dares to go near them...and that makes me hate them, all the more!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!😠😡😠😡😠😡😠😡😠😡😠😡!!!!!!!!!! Still looks like ya had a great day!

I’d count that pike haha. Especially since you didn’t lose your hook. He was at the hole and we got a great view of him 🤙

Happy New Year!😃👍🎊 This is what I have experienced while ice fishing: 🎣 I have actually caught several northern pike on stationary lures. I would set my jigging rod down and reach for my other line that was going down and my fishing lure would get hit when it wasn't even moving. I noticed many times when you were fishing and you would change your technique soon as a fish showed up, then the northern pike would change directions and leave.

Don't feel bad. I went out last week on a lake in southern Minnesota and got lots of bites but didn't land any. The guy next to me caught a few and said they were all small sunnies. It's always good to get out on the ice either way!

Too much movement. You have to be subtle. Sometimes just still. You got too excited happens with a camera

1. Get a larger treble hook on lures, so you can hook them more easily 2. For the first pike it would have been effective if you kept jigging it upwards in one direction, keep him following and locked on it 3. Put the deadstick a little deeper, or shallower 60 feet away for example. Two lures/baits so close to one another can confuse them 4. Also sometimes its good to use a jig and minnow rather than a spoon, a dead minnow on a jig is incredibly effective for pike, and also walleye Maybe this will help 👍

Enjoy your videos. Always like watching and learning a fish’s behavior . I have the tendency to watch the camera more than paying attention to what I’m doing. It’s hard not to.

Make sure you have this, have rhat, have something else...blah blah blah blah blah!!! Personally, I can't stand "Big Brother!" I don't hate anyone, but it's the "System," and the way they do things, that irritates me. They just GOTTA make sure, that you're toeing their "Line," or else they gonna "Get ya!" This Dictatorial System was just set up, within the past 100 years, or so. Think about it this way- It's their way of not only pushing you around...but it's also their way of getting more of your hard-earned money out of you- One way, or another!!!

Hey Bryan! Personally I think an awesome bait that could produce a lot of action for you this season is the dinner bell spoon by frostbite, amazing spoon that can produce a lot of results. Thank you!
