I really enjoy the walleye videos. Thanks to a new job and poor ice conditions, I haven’t been able to get out this year so I appreciate getting a taste of the thrill from your videos. One of these times soon, you’re going to find a super hot bite, I just know it!

Thanks! Walleyes are an elusive species for me so anytime I can get a walleye video I enjoy too. First time I ever ice fished Mille lacs I hit a HOT bite. Gets me going back for sure. I'll find it again!

Thanks Cheryl! Its been nice to get out this year as it has been very limited. Crazy winter for sure, never seen anything like it. I am happy not shoveling snow all year though. Tell Kevin I say Hi and that Sheila's friend called me Towpin recently as she was his nurse one day.

That's a bummer. This season has been a wired one for sure. We even lost our ice for most of January. Glad your buddies getting on some. Fishing here has been hit or miss. Hope next year is back to a normal winter for all of us. Goodluck when you get out next!

Excellent video like usual Bryan! Sounded like the south end has seen a fair bit of traffic with better ice down there this year. Spent Friday and Saturday on the north side. Only about 10-12” of ice. Friday was pretty slow but yesterday was almost funny how good the fishing was!
@BryanProkuski10 ай бұрын
Thanks! Ya with this crappy winter the south end is pretty busy as the main place you can drive out. North end is my favorite though. Glad you had a great day on Saturday. Reports seem to be really good this year out there. Wish I could of got out there more but hopefully next year were back to normal.

Yeah it was a wash a of season for sure! It was like a ghost town on the north side this year. Nice to see you were able to get up and ice a few anyway!

You can only keep 1 fish out there between 21-23" which this one did go but I don;t keep fish often and this was on the bigger end I would normally take for a walleye.

Looks like a great day of fishing. Sucks about the zebra mussels. Hope they don't affect fish populations
@BryanProkuski10 ай бұрын
The zebra mussels are crazy out there. Never seen anything like it. Fish seem to strive through it though.

Is it possible to get a birds eye view too when you get one hooked up (like Clayton Schick Outdoors) or is that too many cameras? 😅

Nor in Minnesota. Maybe Mille Lacs is special because it's so big and never melted and snowed into the ice. 16" of bad ice isn't exactly vehicle worthy imo.

@@Superkuh2 It is crazy how the biggest lakes get this much ice even in a warm winter. I was surprised how good the ice was out where I was. Only had inch or 2 of crappy snow ice and rest was good 16" solid ice.

I live in Erie pa. With this global warming, our winter sports, especially ice fishing, are a thing of the past. Will be selling all my gear, while I can still get any money for it 😢

I'll never sell mine. What if we get a couple cold winters or the weather pattern changes. Don't fall into the doom and gloom forecasters. Next thing you know you'll be voting Democrat and voting your rights away as a sportsman lol
