Ayeee! Very good and tasteful mods! With the popularity of the GT3 touring, I want to get that look too on manual 911! I have a 996.1 too but think the rockers are too sharp. I want a rocker closer to the mk1 gt3 rocker and I don't want to replace the front bumper so I'll prob go with a lip or bolt on splitter to the og parts... I'll also do this once I get the respray I so DESPERATELY need!!! Thank you for documenting this process my good sir! Liked and subbed! Now, all you "need" to finish up the look is a a set of coilovers or lowering shocks and springs! I suggest ohlens as the Bilstein and h&r combo is cool and all but I should have paid the extra 20% and got 2x the better ride, height adjustability, and the ability to change stock stiffness...

Did you get z rated tires, I see guys rebuild these cars and go buy regular tires, then they hit 100 mph and the car is totaled again. Make sure you absolutely know what your doing.

I literally hate everything about this video if I'm honest. First off Quattro dude. It's legendary for a reason and they put it on the car for a reason. You just deleted the very thing that made this car an audi... then your gonna slap that hideous wing on one of rhe best looking rear ends of a car ever designed. If you were 20 I'd see why you maybe want to do this. Being 💯 your never gonna be driving this car at speeds that make that wing useful. The car already has a built in auto adjusting wing anyhow. Id recon instead of doing these mods. Id have done what I did. I have owned two r8s. Right now I have the last version with the v10 and gated manual. I also have a rs5 convertible manual and a S3 manual. My daily is the rs5 typically when I don't have the kids. Or I drive my wife's car. A cadillac ct5 blackwing and yeah it's a manual to. And then I have my favorite car of them all. A 2011 vw eos lux manual. I truly love drop tops and manuals.... it's sad how many guys call themselves car guys but can't drive a stick. But im also on the opinion that camaros and mustangs should only come with a manual and v8... Who ever would want a damn 4 banger mustangs? The last new car i purchased personally was the new lucid electric car and I loved it as well but damn does maintaining a car you can't work on by yourself suck....
