Side note with radiator support panels, it's a good idea to scribe or mark where the panel is before removing - saves you time and headaches with fitment

Ed, you can buy bespoke spot welding drills designed to drill out spot welds. I've used them. They do blunt after about a dozen spots but work well.

will also say id advise taking that turbo to be checked that's a cast iron housing that scratch might actually be a hairline crack the entire way through that you can see and they are suspectable to hairline fractures from hard shunts

Good eye! That lower filter was just to plug the intercooler outlet so nothing got sucked up while I ran the car. It’s an Audi r8 air filter lol.

You can actually switch the fuel map easily if the car is on stock ecu. If you turn the ignition to ACC. Mode and hold the gas pedal down the check engine light will flash fast for e85 , then release and hold it down again it should flash slow for 93
