Communists were allies of Hitler until Hitler decided to turn other side. Biggest hoax is to show that USSR was anti-Hitler. Facts: August 23 year 1939 Stalin-Hitler pact, September 17 of 1939 USSR joins Hitler on attack on Poland (and joins to Hitler coalition on World War II). If somebody wants, drop me a line or google: nazi-soviet military parade in Brest, nazis in Moscow parade etc. I will also remind, that England was for a time (1940) fighting ALONE against Nazis and they supporters (USSR - who supported Hitler with resources). That's reason why British soldiers absent on Red Square parade (1941) and nazi millitary are quests.

This MGM classic science fiction movie should be right up there with “Gone with the Wind,” “The Wizard of Oz,”and “To Kill a Mockingbird” as one of the greatest movies ever made. “ Robbie, the robot,” advanced electro-mechanical costume was made for this movie! The director told all the actors to take their roles quite seriously.

She was disrespectful to her man in front of other men. It's an abhorrent scene. Great movie, though. However, no one ever had to endure a man invading A woman's group to talk about woman stuff. We wouldn't disrespect women in that way. Yet, everybody is praising this woman ingratiating herself without an invitation within a group of men.

Twenty five percent of the performers in this film sold-out their birth names to Hollywood. All unnecessary, deceitful and blatant examples of disrespect for family heritage. So-called "Jayne Mansfield" was born Vera Jayne Palmer. So-called "Tom Ewell" was born Samuel Yewell Tompkins. So-called "Little Richard" was born "Richard Wayne Penniman. So-called "Julie London" was born Julie Peck. So-called "Fats Domino" was born Antoine Dominique Domino, Jr. So-called "Abbey Lincoln" was born Anna Marie Woodridge. So-called "Ray Anthony" was born Raymond Antonini. So-called "Nino Tempo" was born Antonio LoTempio. So-called "Gene Vincent" was born Vincent Eugene Braddock. So-called "Henry Kulky" was born Henry Kulakowich. This is just a small example of the astoundingly ludicrous practice of people changing their names in show business. More than likely because of shallow & greedy agents, managers, and studios. All of which is probably based on shallowness and in anticipation of greater recognition & money. Anyone who changes their birth name for ANY reason, other than marriage, is ashamed of their father.

If they ever decide to do a remake (which is only a matter of time, knowing Hollywood) I think they should pick Benedict Cumberbatch (Dr. Strange) as Doctor Morbius. Also, they should not try to use CGI to portray the ID Monster - rather just keep it totally invisible - even removing it's face from appearing in the electric barrier. Totally invisible and evasive, like the creature in Lost.

I heard that the audience stood up and applauded this movie. I would have too. "Tonalities by Louis and BeBe Barron". "Look at the color of that sky!" / "Yeah but I'll still take blue" / "I don't know, I think a man could grow to love this".

I love this movie! Liz was perfect! This movie was filmed supposedly when women were terribly oppressed. They never spoke up and men didn't take it when she did. Hmmm! 🤔 I guess my Gen. ( Gen X ) and those after us never had strong women as role models. But some of us did. That's why our men ( Husband ) back down. No we don't have to lose our femininity to get respect. Men know when they are being an a--. It takes a woman who knows just what to say to cutting their BS. That's true strength that you can't get by screaming equality in everything like harpies. Men don't respond to stomping your foot and acting like a child. This scene proves you don't have to. 😊
