I say it's the same thing today. Overall, books are not as popular these days but I just think the right "thing" has yet to come along.

AUDREY HEPBURN and Julia Roberts are NOT alike at all!!! There will never be another Audrey Hepburn EVER! Audrey Hepburn had many life experiences that no other actor can relate to. Audrey had her own innocence and sweetness that came across in the characters she played. One of the most dramatic enthralling movies she was in is The Nun Story, a work of art....... I don't think it is fair to compare actresses and actors, each brings their own experiences that come through in the charaters they play.

Expecting to cast a Portuguese girl with dark hair is VERY racist and stereo typical but NOT true. Portuguese people are white and have blonde hair, red hair, blue or green eyes etc NOT all Portuguese people have dark hair and eyes. THANKS HOLLYWOOD FOR AGAIN TEACHING PEOPLE LIES REGARDING A PARTICULAR ETHNICITY OR NATIONALITY!!

Marilyn Monroe's story is one of both brilliance and heartbreak. Despite the challenges she faced-from a troubled childhood to the pressures of an unforgiving industry-she shone with an unmatched charisma and a subtle, often overlooked comedic genius. It's heartbreaking to think of the ways she was mistreated, yet her resilience and talent continue to captivate generations. Marilyn’s legacy is timeless, and tributes like yours remind us of the humanity behind the icon. She truly deserves to be celebrated and remembered with love and respect.

📽 THE G.O.A.Tom Hanks 🎬 🤔As far back as I can remember, I had always had a crush on "Tom Hanks!" We were raised MOVIE BUFFS. Comedy & horror were #1, action #2, and drama as I got older. (old school horror, when horror movies were the best, in my opinion) "🧜♀️Splash🛀" was my 1st Tom Hanks movie. It wasn't a movie for me, but I stopped and sat down with my mom because I saw a mermaid. But, Tom Hanks caught my eye, I had to be 4 yrs old, lol! My father came home with the movie "The Money Pit", and remember watching the movie "BIG" with my older cousins. I had to be 10 when I was given a poster "The Burbs" for Christmas, and I watched the movie at a sleepover. 📼📼 VHS Style Baby! 📼📼 ☆☆ Be Kind & Rewind ☆☆ As I got older, his movies went from "You Got Mail" comedy/rom com/ to drama from being stranded on an island 🏝 with ⚽️Wilson (made me cry when he lost a soccer ball into the 🌊 sea, yeah ..Tom Hanks is that GREAT!), to landing a 🛩 on the sea waters, saving lives. It was when I saw him in "Forest Gump" & "Saving Private Ryan" that I lost it, lol! That man is like the finest wine and only gets better with age. I'm always looking forward to when he's hosting or making short appearances on SNL📺
