I've loved Daniel's work since seeing him in the UK series - My Brother, Jonathan; and the UK play - How Many Miles To Babylon. I then saw him in the films, My Beautiful Laundrette and A Room With A View and have been a fan ever since. There's none better!

He really is unique. Props to him for ‘disappearing’ between acting gigs, do what you want, genius. I think Leo D is not altogether different, he wears a semi-disguise of his baseball cap, spends summers on a yacht, whatever - he just finds his own way between roles. He may not win 3 Oscars in his lifetime but I think his ability is about on par with Mr. Day-Lewis. Interesting stuff! I love movies.

Is this an AI voice or just a bad narrator? It’s hard to tell these days. I mean the quality of the voice is excellent, but the mispronunciations, poor rhythm and inappropriate tone and stress choices make me think it’s artificial. Oh, I am sure that he can, but simply doesn't know that a name pronounced 'sea sil' where he is from is said 'sess il' elsewhere. If it seemed self-evident, he wouldn't have looked up the pronunciation. He's from a "Beany and Cecil" (sea sil) locale. I haven't noticed any "arrogance" in his narration. I'm not as sensitive, perhaps, as yourself. Perhaps you could have enjoyed the visuals, on mute, using CC. Or was it content of the narrative that disturbed your equanimity, rather than tone? Your rejection after 10 min. is not very important to the presenter, I would guess, but at least you didn't hold it in. You had a complaint and you made sure it was presented. Well done (?)
