My stupid roof came warped. Nightmare trying to get it on

This is a great video guide. It helped. Definitely refer to your assembly manual (like you suggested), as the parts are labeled differently than what is shown here.

Don’t try to put this together in your rainy season bc this will delay you and the pieces will get muddy/full of leaves. Too hot and the pieces will warp bad if taken out of the box and set against a tree. The roof pieces have pilot holes but they don’t line up well with the metal struts or the wall pieces. That’s the reason the guy in the video uses an electric drill. I’m 6’1” but my husband is 5’6” so I dont know how we’re going to get the top roof pieces in and skylights. We’ll both have to use ladders. I’ve been using drills saws hammers and screw driver my entire life growing up on a farm and in my work every day for 30 years but it’s a chore putting this together especially at 65. The roof pieces slide easily so someone has to hold them down firmly while you search for a hole that actually lines up and do a couple of those at least. Also, You really do need a carpenters belt for this project bc looking for a hammer to hammer pieces together all the time and then a screwdriver to clean out the hanging plastic chads then your electric screwdriver and screws takes a lot of time. You can’t do it without looking at the videos either.

At step 6.2, do the screws go through the metal frame?

Question on step 3.2 (Installing the Header Bar). When I place the bar in the slot as instructed, it doesn't sit flush against the panel as that part of the panel has a slight angle to it. As I begin to screw the bar into the panel, it tilts at an angle and only then does it sit flush against the panel. Is this typical when installing the bar?

This was terrible the letters where wrong on 1/5 times, I would take 2 minutes setting it up just to undo everything because of mixing up the letters great job for wasting my time I’m going to tell everyone I know about how bad mammoth basketball system sucks.

The only issue I had was the bolts below the u-bolt the holes where too small and I had to drill them out

Imma keep It real. If you’re not gonna show the walk up to how you’re doing something and always showing what’s in your hand. Then this mind as well be hind and seek. For others who don’t normally do it need those little details to fully understand what you’re doing. Even having the bags marked like it is in the manual would be helpful.

@14:16 the net was not installed correctly. You are supposed to twist the top of each portion of the net a half twist 🤔😲 to make a figure eight before you connect it to the rim.... 🤠🌵🌵🌵🍺🇺🇲

I thought the comments were overreacting, I originally planned on coming to the comments to defend Lifetime. Then I got to the last series of steps and realized I installed the pole backwards. Had to unattach the base and backboard, turn the pole, and reattach. 😂 Took about five hours to assemble, using both the printed instructions and this helpful video.
