Where do I begin? The manufacturer should have let the installers know that pieces are attached to the base of the hoop. Luckily my friend flipped over the base and found them attached to it. This should be in bold letters on the first instruction page!! This basketball hoop is not an easy assembly. Thankfully I have friends with the right tools and skill set to complete this project, otherwise I would have had to pay someone to assemble this hoop. This assembly took 2 skilled tradesmen nearly 3 hours to put together a basketball hoop. The KZbin video on the assembly was somewhat helpful but the manual instructions were just as good. The hoop is up and my kids love it, buyer beware this assembly is not for the faint of heart. Be prepared to buy more tools than you have laying around your house to assemble this hoop. Godspeed for those who attempt this project!
