The only reason I went for a Roadster 1200 is for the size and weight of the Fat Bob Dyna as you rightly mentioned. Maybe after I get used to handling the 1200 & if I get a good deal I will buy a FB Dyna and keep my Roadster 😉. Besides lifestyle, it's also about the feeling that you get from the Torque, the sturdiness and robust nature of the Harley. I doubt any brand can offer it. Love from India.

I have watched a lot of youtubers and read a lot of comments regarding todays state of HD. What almost all of you forgrt is that HD do not live of the US market alone. It is totally dependant of selling bikes world wide. Take a look at the current market streams world wide. This years EICMA is a good place to start. Plenty of videos on YT. My prediction: In 5 years time HD will have new ownership, a totally new and much smaller structure and will be a niche brand. A very high percentage of owners will be dead or too old to even drive a HD trike.
@thatoneguymoto8 күн бұрын
I published this video years ago and others mentioned this "niche" or "boutique" future of HD, and I just don't think it will ever happen. They're simply too big of a global brand. The 2025 bikes are a great example of their willingness to adapt to new tech, even if it is late and should appeal to the upcoming generation of riders, while retaining the middle-aged demographic that can actually afford them.

I bought a can am f3s. Got in July 2024 and put about 1000 miles a month on it and I enjoy it. Unfortunately my personal suspension suspension is rather on the mangled side so I am no longer completely confident in my ability to hold up 2 wheels when stopped so the can am was the way to go. I think the slingshot was just too much like a car for me.
@thatoneguymoto8 күн бұрын
Absolutely. I still haven't rode a trike or the Slingshot, but the Spyder to me was not too unlike riding a bike. Just had to get used to really slowing down for the turns and not leaning, too.

Question my friend::: how does the knees ride? Meaning do the knee leggings ending below the knees ever ride up? Or do they generally stay I position correctly? Thank you my bro! 🎉
@thatoneguymoto25 күн бұрын
This is a good question but it's going to be based on your build. If you've got muscular or larger legs I don't think you have to worry about then sagging or riding up. They stay put for me, but I can see someone who is thin having issues. I'd say if you have any compression pants or shorts and they're tight on you, you're probably not going to have an issue with these.

@@thatoneguymoto If you knew Willie G. and his past you probably wouldn't care for the brand. Not a nice guy, as far as the bike itself R&D is still light years behind the Japanese. I owned a shovel head an old flh and an old ironhead when my Dad passed away in 92 I bought a new Sportster 1200 deluxe. One thing I can say about the 92 I put 100 miles on it and sold it for 100 less than I paid. NO way I could have done that at that time with any other bike. HD actually had a buyers waiting list.

Sat on one today and it feels just right for me at 5’10”, plus I’m over 60 and it’s easier for me to get on/off when my lower back is feeling stiff. Seems like a great ride. I seriously considering it over the rebel, seat is too low, and the other Honda 500’s have the tank in your crotch 😢

@thatoneguymotoАй бұрын
I haven't had the Fat Bob for years, but I know that I didn't ever fully flat foot the bike. And, certainly, if you're getting a non-stock seat, it'll put you up even higher. I will say, though, that I never felt unsafe or uncomfortable on it. As a first bike, though, I'd add that it is heavy so I'd recommend an engine guard of some sort because the likelyhood of dropping it is pretty high.

No issues so far. Quick story: the Eldorado's handlebar lock requires you to turn the key almost all the way to the left; however, just past the lock, turns on the DRL. I did this one evening and the DRL was on for three hours. I thought for sure I'd be calling an Uber, but the bike started right up. I charged it when I got home and it's never shown any issues since.
