My theory Fredbear: using a similar to the classic ones, different Fredbear and Spring Bonnie design in the different locations. Also using old design because idk saving money I guess. The unwitherds are withers but fixed, when the classic's were made they took inspiration from Fredbear. Even maybe just copying the design of Fredbear as accurate as possible.

Pretty convincing theory. I do think at one point Foxy was Scott's intention for the Bite of 87 and the girl in the playground could have very been the original Elizabeth or an additional sister. Granted I do think Scott has made at least a few retcons since his original statement saying he made only one.

The line you used from the week before implies that Ralph wasn't ever sure if Foxy bit a kid. Due to him saying "Though as far as you know". And if Ralph wanted to mention something terrible Foxy did, he would mention the Bite of '87. As well, Withered Foxy didn't get scrapped in FNaF 2, but the toys were instead, which implies that one of the toys did the Bite of '87. But the most key part of evidence is that the withered animatronics simply weren't allowed to leave the parts and service and could never make any interactions with a customer or worker.

No joke every time I saw that headless Foxy plush in the fnaf 4 minigame, my first thought was always “out of order” & with the week before’s foxy lore I totally buy foxy doing the bite of ‘87. Also I didn’t know only one of the 87’s changed to an 83 in the source code that’s crazy but it makes sense since 83 and 87 help you figure out what’s up with fnaf 4. The tiny toy chica in the fnaf 4 minigame can’t be missing her beak like fnaf 2’s toy chica because toy chica’s not supposed to even exist in 1983. The toys and mangle only exist for a few short weeks in 1987, and the tiny toy chica belongs to a girl whom the crying child meets in the days leading up to his death in 1983. That means the minigames only sort of take place in 1983 - the toys and mangle + balloon boy imply 1987, and out of order foxy implies the year fnaf 1 took place (same goes for the fnaf 1 phone guy easter egg that rarely plays in the fnaf 4 nighttime gameplay). Then the finger trap spring bonnie toy implies the FNAF 1 location closed down & William broke in and got springtrapped (“Follow Me” minigame). The main nighttime gameplay of FNAF 4 takes place after 1983, 1987, FNAF 1, and Follow Me. The minigames take place in 1983, but can blaringly reference every other time period because the events of the crying child’s death are being recalled in retrospect.

Although I did enjoy watching this video. The idea of the Toy kid having to be BV’s sister had been an idea long ago but I never expected Sire Squawks to bring it up and talk about it. I like the idea and I think that’s more likely the possible candidate of the one retcon. And with the 87 thing, I think it’s safe to say that Foxy might’ve been Scott’s plan for who did the Bite of 87. Although… the Bite doesn’t really matter anymore thanks to how it’s not really important that much; meaning that it can be either Withered Foxy or Mangle for that matter, but you can brush that off if you want to. The idea of the Toy Chica missing a beak having to indicate that the street kids are the DCI victims makes more sense to me since under MemoryVictim, BV’s memories are the cause of the lore to start. And it seems possible that the story itself had the DCI involved and it could explain the Puppet’s absence: The Puppet had to find the other souls just to free all of them during FNAF 3. The one thing I find interesting is what was the story before Scott did the retcon, because things back then can be a bit simple and interesting to look at. Although, this is a great video.

I'm still confused about foxy being the culprit, if he was why did fazbear entertainment keep the classics but destroyed the toys??? Wouldn't it make sense the other way around??? Pre Silver Eyes and SL, there were no mentions of Aftons. CC was just some kid whose brother smushed him into Fredbear's face. I can't even remember what game we got the name Fredbear from, was that in FNAF4? Nightmare Fredbear? Anyway, as someone who was not aware of the book series at the time, it was extremely confusing because none of the Afton/Charlie stuff was ever in the games, and suddenly theories came out discussing characters I'd never heard of. I think people still don't realize how few of the book detals have been 100% confirmed by the games, and how much the books are used to spackle the plot holes left by the games. This is why I'm fully prepared for it to be revealed that Henry knew and approved of William's murder spree and experiments, and he was only working against him because their kids got hurt and they blame each other, and he needed a scapegoat for the police. Henry had way too much knowledge of remnant, souls, spirits, and how to transfer it into machinery for him to not be deeply involved with the bizarre stuff William was doing - he was directly using and benefitting from that knowledge. People think that because Henry went against William in FFPS and was portrayed as innocent in the books that it will be the same in the games, but we have no evidence/precedent for that. Edwin Murray with his AI robots is the one likely to clash philosopically with William and Henry and their weird remnant robots, and this is who I expect to be eventually be revealed as Old Man Consequences/a body at the bottom of the red lake.

ITPLoop is pretty obviously canon. All these books seem to be loops in order to trap their protagonists. We never leave MOE in VIP, Ralph is trapped in a never ending remake of his final shift until he works with "Bronwyn" to set things right, and Oswald is trapped in a loop until he gets the coin and finally "SAVES THEM". EtP is almost 100% gonna be about cassie reliving her special day due to the neural implant

Considering Scott only stated that book Doug isn’t canon from this book I wonder if CC, who Garret is a stand in for, also never possessed any animatronics in the games and just simply haunted the place like in the week before. Of course there’s always a chance that it could mean nothing and Garret still possessed the puppet in the movies anyways but I wanted to point that out anyway since I find that detail interesting.

Ik a lot of people are saying this book confirms Cassidy as being the HD receiver but we need to remember that this isn't the MCI, this is memories of the MCI and someone has to be the reciever in order for this ending to happen so they defaulted to Cassidy bc she is also a soul inside the Golden Freddy suit and the last MCI victim, plus, the real Happiest Day has already occurred after the FNAF 6 fire when William was sent into UCN by Andrew and the spirits are freed from Molten Freddy. If loop theory is true, then this means that Cassidy 100% has to still be alive because in the Fetch minigame we see that someone in the present day is still haunting the Golden Freddy suit as also seen in UCN which takes place after the HD as implied by the fact that the souls are no longer tied down by a suit as the Molten Freddy suit was destroyed and later on in Fazbear Fright's the Puppet's soul stays behind to defeat the Trash Afton Monster which is symbolic of the mask falling slower than the other HD kids as her spirit stays behind a little longer to finish the job and kill Afton before being freed. A lot of people are ignoring the fact that she literally shows up, unwilling to depart in UCN.

Ok at this point scott and this franchise is starting to piss me off. We already have the debate of what books are in the games continuity and now this? We have like 3 versions of this story and the “what ifs” from the interactive book on top. This is mental fnaf is the only ip where creator doesn’t clarify continuities and timelines

I wouldn’t say that Cassidy being the happiest day receiver was obvious. All signs pointed to it being crying child. The birthday imagery, the layout of the building matching perfectly to Fredbear’s, and the character masks all matched up perfectly with crying child and it would have been a satisfying end to his character after the tragedy he faced in fnaf 4. But no instead it was Cassidy all along, a character we know basically nothing about and a character who doesn’t have any reason to be as important as she is. Don’t get me wrong; from what I’ve heard from this book it sounds great, I just wish they gave the happiest day ending to cc. I think it would have been more satisfying.
