Freddy coulda been a real bear at a circus. The gimmick of the attraction being a bear “dancing” to a song. The bear could die of old age and inspire Henry to build a bear that will sing forever and ever. But hey, that’s just a theory…

This is more head Canon than Speculation. But I think Fredbear was always gonna turn yellow. But to make the fans of the characters happy, Henry made Freddy. Making his appearance similar to the old Fredbear design. To keep the fans happy and not remove the brown Fredbear entirely.

I think if we want it hard enough we can use Fredbear/Freddy interchangeably, since... you know, Freddy the bear, Fredbear, quite close + Golden Freddy suit, who is definitely most likely Fredbear is named Golden Freddy IN GAMES (FNaF 2, UCN)

I personally think the Freddy cutout is just that, it’s Freddy, not FredBear. The FredBear Singing Show could’ve just had Freddy as a singing bear while FredBear was just for the title. Henry and Aubergine Man could’ve bought out the franchise long after it died, and rebranded as a children entertainment franchises. FredBear could’ve become a character with Freddy being a side character, and new characters would’ve been added afterwards. Freddy may have become popular enough to have his own band, or he wasn’t part of the FredBear’s cast until like 1983 or something, idk. Also, I’m the singing show ticket, Freddy is referred to as a local singing bear, not an animatronic nor a cartoon animal. I think it was just an actual bear, that can sing.

oh damn am i first? i have my own personal theory that fredbear and freddy are both short for freddybear and fazbear ent just dropped the bear part and added fazbear. for the colour im guessing when henry got the rights and began making the suits he couldnt find brown dye.

I think the fredbear from 70s is actually golden freddy from fnaf 2 because he have a darker skin color And Blackish purple hat and bowtie. And the golden freddy from fnaf 1 i think the one from fnaf 1 is actually an extra springlock suit which was going to replace fredbear after the bite but I guess the police of Utah banned springlocks causing william and henry replace fredbear and Springbonnie with faz gang we know today. And about the 80s fredbear i think it's the fredbear from ucn but it's just a theory

It confuses me that after the bite, they used fredbear in the 1985 and 1987 locations but as golden freddy. I’m wondering if they just changed his hat color, or did they remodel him to look like the freddy from 1985?

All animatronics apart from foxy were built with no upper teeth after the bite or very soft teeth bc mini game fredbear had huge upper teeth.
