Very clear and easy to understand. My question, do we need a signal conditioner to process a signal, or does a transmitter also act as signal conditioner?
@realpars2 ай бұрын
Hello. Thank you for your question. This all depends on the device you are using, the distance from location to location, and whether your receiving end of the signal is a PLC. Always look at the spec sheets of your device sending the signal and the receiving device. The spec sheets and manuals should have all the information. Happy learning from RealPars!

Hi @Aqualastic. In this video, the transmitter does act as a signal conditioner. It produces a standardized output current or voltage representing the input variable signal.

@@realpars That’s pretty interesting in itself on how to match the output signal of a sensor to an input device, especially so if the signal is incoherrent, weak and pretty unstable. Do you have that kind of training available?

Hello, I would like to query about some concept of IS CALCULATION. I am aware, but for one loop only. Like BARRIER to JB to LT. But I am not sure how would be the process for IS like this case. BARRIER to JB to FIT to FE? How is The cable from FIT for FE considered in calculation? In my case, I have a flow element with its own instrinsic parameter.. then a transmitter with its own instrinsic parameter also.. so Im confuse how consider it in IS calculation? appreciate if you can advise me.

Hello. Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, your question is very confusing, and it is hard to understand what you are asking related to our video. Please be more clear on what you need help with. Please spell out what you are asking. IS, FIT, FE, and JB mean lots of different things in the electrical electronic industry or PLC jargon. Please spell out what you are asking related to our video you watched. Happy learning from RealPars!

@@realpars hi appreciate your response. Actually my comment was supposed to be for this video below. But I posted a comment here as I'm really desperate for your advice regarding my query. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mGqneWN6pJ6FnZYsi=CjUZPc7JyTqDchiT Hope you can give advice for intrinsically safe calculation. If I have a barrier then cable to transmitter and then cable to element. How would I consider the element in Intrinsically safe calculation in this loop? Normally I only encounter barrier then cable to transmitter and nothing follows.
