Thank you for your question! It's a very good question, but here is your answer. Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) is generally faster and more capable than CAN bus Ethernet, but CAN bus was designed for real-time control systems. CAN bus is limited to a maximum data-transmission rate of 8 to 10 Mb/s, making it difficult to keep up with the demands of modern vehicles. SPE is designed to deliver the high performance required in automotive applications. Happy learning!
