This is the first step of Hamaji making more content he's genuinely passionate about, which is the point of making videos, can't wait to see more man!

As a short lefty, what helped me on timing my jump was focusing less on having my arms forward when starting my approach and more on just swinging them back as I did my approach. This may or may not help you but I just thought I’d share. Love to see other people getting into volleyball :)

Look out for rice. They will break the screen. And staples. My friend broke his screen by putting some stapled paper in between the keyboard and screen which broke the screen.

I think it's pretty common to feel like we are underachieving or underperforming, usually I tell myself that is not important to compare with others but at the same time it's through comparison that we get the drive to do more. That is my personal experience as a software engineer, I see all of my friends having side projects and developing cool stuff, I have some as well but they don't feel as important or as cool. Also since I don't want to reduce my life to my degree I don't work on them all that much, therefore it feels like things are stagnating, as you said. Anyway, keep up the good work! Been a follower for a while and I always enjoyed your content. Knowing that you are 22 and you reched a discrete level of success makes me feel underachieving actually haha (I'm 24)
@hamajineo10 ай бұрын
yes man, comparison rly do be the thief of joy it’s scary
@alessandrobiagiotti61710 ай бұрын
@@hamajineo Probably we should work towards making comparison a more welcome drive to improve and not as a toxic intrusive thought that just brings us down. Anyway I think you are doing pretty amazing, balancing work, hobby, sports and personal life pretty decently, still trying to hit that sweet spot.

hey hamaji neo, great video! i've been watching u and following your ig for a while now and i was surprised and happy that u play volleyball! i recommend working on your approach in spiking and your arm swing for more power and more height since i notice that your arms just stay still as you approach. loved this "vlog" and keep up with the vlog content and volleyball content!

ngl to improve ur hitting for ur approach u should take larger steps like how u see yuji nishida taking very big approach steps to generate alot of energy and jump high and pull ur arm back and open ur body to the side for more arm power
@MarbsMusic9 ай бұрын
Really like the various content and styles, obviously hope to see keyboard stuff as well but personally I think it nice for people to see that content creators have an actual life because I would hope it would encourage others to get out and live as well! In regards to progress, I think you are doing great, far beyond the norm and probably farther along than many people will be at 40. As I tell my oldest who is your age, enjoy life, enjoy this time. You just need to follow your path, you don't have to run.

I have family relatives in malaysia and when i went again last summer i was invited to play volleyball for the first time and even though i never played it before it was so funny playing and then when I went back to the uk i found out that literally nobody played volleyball causally and i found that so disappointing. But as someone who finished university I feel like its to late for me to learn properly hahahaah. Also just only realised we are about the same age hahahahah. Anyway as much as I love your mechnical keybaord videos, I would love to see more vlogs about you as well keep it up.

I made the mistake with my M1 Max macbook pro which was not getting a proper sleeve to store the mac when i put it in my bag, the edges of the mac start to get very fine, miner dents which obviously makes it look worse, so id highly recommend getting a sleeve for it. other than that macs are actually quite durable, i dropped my old intel mac a couple of times and it was fine, it was even resistant to water damage up until a point ( my water bottle leaked in my bag and completely destroyed the old mac so i had to get the new one ) congrats again on your new mac

When you said that you felt bad about being less successful than the guy from the band... I felt that. And I remembered what I am currently at 25. Damn I feel miserable now.

I'll be there soon bro but the best time to start is now, so if there's anything you want to do, just do it.
@phykios10 ай бұрын
Nah man, dont compare your success to others, it just becomes a rabbit hole. Achieve what you want to achieve based on your own wants not someone else's. Age is just a number, just because someone is more successful when they were younger doesn't take away from what you have achieved. There will always be someone more successful than you at whatever age you are in. As long as you're content and satisfied with your achievements is what matters.

Don't slam your screen down onto the body of the laptop, I did it a little bit too hard to mine because I thought it could take the abuse (it being metal and all, why did i do that, why am I clown), I now have a singular dead pixel line running up and down my whole screen
