Hamaji Neo: Gateron Yellows are the best budget switch Akko CS: Hold my lube
@johnyjoe2k3 жыл бұрын
To be fair, Akko switches are 3 pin switches, whereas Gateron Yellows are usually 5 pin. 5 pin is preferred to prevent keycaps from looking crooked. This usually only happens on the stabilized keys though as those cutouts are usually elongated and sometimes oversized to allow different layouts (plate included). If you were to use Akko switches on that, then you would be having to check the straightness before and after soldering.
@ephraimsb22773 жыл бұрын
All nylon yellows are still best I would say. They are the same price as milkies but definitely a fair bit smoother and the all nylon housing gives them a really desirable sound profile.

Ok so I have no problems with this vido exept one. YOU DO NOT NEED A SWITCH OPENER, OR A LUBE STATION YOU DO NOT NEED ALL THOSE LUBES, KRYTOX FOR EVERYTHING IS BETTER, YOU DO NOT NEED A LUBE PALET, this is supposed to be a budget video. so dont reccomend getting 100 dollars worth of extra intems for lubing. All you reallly need is a brush, lube, your switches, and a screw driver to open the switches, you could also get tweezers for opening switches and holding parts, and you can also get a jewelry holder. otherwise besides that good video its just beginers are probably a little hesitant to get into the hobby if they see they need to get 100 usd of extra things other than the keyboard parts themselves.

Mine getting trouble sound pinging. And I have to use a bit of Trybosis on the leaf in order to make it muted lol. About the Matcha+Pink variants, they have a long stem pole so it'll make the sound signature a little bit thock+ not having trouble with north facing LED board. Tried on my Keychron K6 and it sounds perfect Also about opening the swithches, if you don't have Kailh's switch opener, you can still use you finger nail/some tweezers which have a non sharpening head to open it. Not too hard since the clamping force on both sides of the switches are pretty light.
