As someone who has been trying to make Toum for YEARS I am sooo happy to have found your recipe!! This turned out absolutely PERFECT! The only thing I did differently was put my bowl in an ice bath while mixing the Toum so the ingredients stay cool while blending and I threw my oil in the freezer for 10 mins so all my ingredients were cold. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR RECIPE, thank you soooo much for sharing!!!!

Why don't you write Syria? You write Turkish, but you don't write Syrian. Why? Why the hatred against Syria? We love all countries, but why do you attribute our heritage to others!?? Do you attribute our heritage to other countries? Note that all Levantine food originates from Syria

I made this soup for my family. They liked it a little bit sour so we added a pinch of citrus acid. It was delicious. The soup was gone within minutes. Definitely saving this recipe for future reference. Thanks ❤

My grandmother, who was from Damascus, would add the zest of an orange to the wheat shell. Also, she added feta cheese to the filling. They were the best!

Thank you for the recipe. I made these today and they tasted great! I found them a little too sweet for my taste. Can I please reduce the sugar, if so, by how much?
@DolmaRecipes9 ай бұрын
hi, thank you for your feedback. You are right this recipe is more like for kids taste. If i do those more for me and my friends I would go to 100-120 g of sugar. still will be sweet but very light sweetness

@DolmaRecipes9 ай бұрын
hi, yes if you are in hurry you can use stock cube. I usually when make a chicken stock, always freeze the leftovers, so you will use it once the cooking time is short :)

Thanks! Looks great! Some brief subtitles on the ingredients would have been useful, though. For example, you added some more finely shredded green leaves to it. Was that more parsley or something else? Sorry, I just saw your subtitles, and it was mint!!!!!
