I bet he was an awesome travel buddy! I’m thinking real hard on getting one! I got a 160# German Shepard that I’ve enjoyed his time with me. Always gets me in a better mood when he always comes running up to me as soon as I go outside. If I’m inside for longer periods, I always invite him in too! Going to miss him when he passes… have a feeling that it’s coming soon, unfortunately…

Can I ask is your dog ok left in the van ? Maybe the video is misleading but it looks like you seem to leave your dog quite a lot and for quite a lenght of time at points 🤷🏼‍♀️😔 Maybe this isn't the case but that's how it comes across on the video 👍

Yes she is fine thanks. Sometimes she has to stay in the van, sometimes she can be with us depending on what we are doing. She lives one of the best lives a dog can enjoy.

One problem with the van, it is front wheel drive, bit of mud or a 100mm drop off from solid road it no mud if it doesn't bottom out, your stuffed let alone snow. Comfy conversion though whilst waiting for the recovery to come.

Using pallet wood would scare me… it’s usually sprayed with chemicals to keep bugs away from ruining the wood and getting to whatever is sitting on the pallet…

Ref putting curtains to hide your dog it won’t work if a) they see the dog b4, b) the dog barks if it thinks threat outside, same thing happens in UK believe it or not

Hi I've just found your channel and we're also planning a trip with the van to Fuerteventura with two dogs next March. Is it possible to get to the van during the ferry trip and leave the dogs in the van instead of kennels? Also would it be possible to sleep in the van as the cabins are so expensive? Cheers guys and keep having fun.

Hi, yeah we actually did move her to the van - it’s in the video where a friendly dude told us about him keeping his cat down there. You aren’t allowed to sleep down there though, hence our starry solution 🌟

So you use rust preventer which I understand but then you send it down to bare metal past the rust preventer so could you just skip the rest preventer

Rust converter, so it kills it (as much as possible). If I leave it on it messes with the finish. People seem to have other opinions though
