Purists:"Arwen has no buisness against the Nine!" Her Great-Great uncle wounded The 1st Dark Lord ,who was stronger than Sauron ever was,8 times,after he made the Balrogs flee like pansies. Well done guys. At graduation ceremonies in 1989 everyone had "Carpe Diem" on their graduation cap. Robin mentioned this as one of his favorite movies for the message it conveys. It's mine too. RIP Captain my Captain. You left a wonderful verse.

At 1:20:25 YOu actually knows what spell is this blue animal flames.. That is Descendio curse.. You saw this curse at Deathly Hallows Part 2.. Harry Saved Malfoy from this spell.. Because this spell could be one of strongest spell in the world like Avada Kedavra..It's almost impossible for you to fight this spell..Not so impossible but so hard.. Think how strong this spell is.. It even can destroy a horcrux itselves.. Harry didnt fight this spell, he run and shutted that door for escaping.. Also At Order of the Phionix, at Dumbledore vs Voldemort.. Voldemort used this spell against dumbledore.. But he manage the parry this spell barely..

42:53 You recognize the "Thanks Mclaggen" moment? That student's surname is Mclaggen.. At Harry Potter, there is a boy at Half Blood Prince.. Cormac Mclaggen..The boy who like Hermione.. Catching a fly at air with his bare hand at Quiddich practice... I think that kid is his father.. :))

In defense of Isildur, J.R.R. Tolkien (the author of The Lord Of The Rings) has stated that nobody would have been capable of throwing the ring into the fires of mount doom. The ring was so powerful and so desperate not to be destroyed in that moment that not a single person in Middle Earth could have overcome its influence and willingly destroyed it, no man, no elf, no hobbit, no dwarf, no one. Not even Sauron himself would have been capable of doing so, if he so desired.

I’m going to be completely honest, I LOVE this movie! I don’t care what anyone else says about it! All 3 Fantastic Beasts movies made my little potterhead heart happy! The music is good, the effects are beautiful, and the acting is amazing!! This movie always makes me overjoyed! All these wizarding communities around the world explored! So yes, I love this movie! P.S: Theseus Scamander is absolutely good looking! My eyes were on him the whole time! He stole the show and slayed! Callum Turner is so 😍😍😍

It's a comedy! You would never survive the 80's with you snowflake 21st century ideas. Leave your logic and reason in the lobby. If you don't like the way a movie is written then learn how to write screen plays, get some money together and make your own movie. That way you can leave the professionals alone to make the movies people actually want to see because your movie would suck. Too much talking and not enough watching the movie.

Sauron dying because he has his fingers chopped off is one of the silliest changes that Jackson made. In the books, he is defeated by Elendil (Isildur's father) and Gil-Galad (an Elven high King) - they both died in the fight. Afterwards, Isildur uses his father's broken sword (Narsil) to cut the ring from Sauron's hand. What Jackson did was good for keeping the intro brief, I guess, but seeing the actual fight would have been way more epic.

There're a few reasons that the Ring makes Bilbo invisible, but not Sauron - first, this is an effect of the users' ability to control the ring. In the books, it does not make Tom Bombadil invisible either, because it has no mastery over him. If the user is powerful enough, they can choose if the ring has that effect over them. Second, the Ring actually makes people invisible by drawing them into the Unseen - this is why Frodo is able to see the Ringwraiths at Weathertop. The Morgul-Blade has a similar effect (although slower), which is why Frodo saw an aura around Arwen (or Glorfindel, in the book). This is why invisibility is so often the Ring's 'default' power. Finally, the Ring gives people power 'according to their stature'. Basically, if you're not a very powerful person already, you can't do much more with it than utilise its more passive effects (invisibility, the extension of life, heightened senses, etc). If you were very powerful, you could use it to dominate the will of others. Still, even Frodo and Sam were able to make some use of its other powers.

George makes me think of the Kenny Rogers' song "Coward of the County". Everybody thought of Tommy, the main character in the song, as a wimp and a coward just because he never stood up for himself, but when his girlfriend, Becky, was assaulted by those three brothers, they found out just how much of a coward Tommy really was. It was the same with George. Everybody thought he was someone they could push around, but when Lorraine was in trouble, that's what forced him to say "Enough is enough!"

This and The Shawshank Redemption are my favorite movie of all time, I watched as a teen, and 35 years later still are, watching this a teen, is great, and for fathers I think is too, to learn how when you push the bottoms too much, you could damage your kids, their confidence, Niel was a good student, the best in his group, he wasnt lazy, so to let the enjoy life, I think his father love him, but was blind, by what he wanted for his son, that he didnt think what his son really wanted, you could saw that he was a confident boy buy not with his father,

You said that Neil's father loved him but in the death scene he NEVER calls him by name. It is always 'my son, my son...', and I think that this is the basis of the problem (and so many other problems) because to too many parents) even in this day and age) their kids are just mini-me's
@TheHappyCryers9 күн бұрын
I completely understand where you're coming from and agree to a certain point. However, as a father myself, a person would have to be a full-blown narcissist or psychopath to not love their own child. I know that there are parents who don't show their love in the right ways or even struggle to show it at all, but that does not mean that they don't love them right? Someone else commented that Neil's father came from The Great Depression with extreme poverty, so it is understandable that he would be extremely stubborn in wanting the absolute best for his son. That does NOT excuse or justify the actions of Neil's father and making Neil feel the way he did. It was 100% wrong and the consequence costed Neil's life. Such a poetic movie! We hope you enjoyed our reaction and thank you for your comment! - Chris

You and your wife stated that the acting in this movie was so good, but what’s funny is that Daniel Radcliffe HATES his acting in this movie. He’s even said that his performance was so bad and mediocre that he doesn’t even watch this Potter movie at all. He also admitted to having a little alcohol problem when filming this movie and many scenes were apparently filmed with him being so hungover because he got completely obliterated the night before. He said that he never drank on set, but surely all night before he had to come in to shoot his scenes.
