@@baxter2908 I did some research and I am going to pick these up. I will probably do a separate video on them, I think they are in the spirit of Starfield but might be a little too much for the purist to accept. Maybe pitch it as an extension of the base game.

I always play the vanilla and do mods after I have beaten it. For me, mods just extend the gameplay.

A lot of those mods are around yes, but it sounds like you have not dug deep enough. Mods come in all flavors. Personally, I am very careful to make sure the mods I create fit with the lore. Sometimes researching the lore for years, for example with Conan Exiles I helped open a lore research archive for modders.

What does it do?

@@MattttMan over 440 bug fixes from about 35+ people. It's a community mod full of fixes that Bethesda hasn't included yet.

@@MattttMan I don't know a lot about the unofficial patch. I've been using the community patch since it originally released. I know it's from the same team that's developed community patches for the previous Bethesda games. They've done a really good job at keeping it up to date, and I've had no issues that I can tell.

@Starfield_Eclipse it's a game changer for ship building. Although I have heard some chatter about CC or the Bethesda mod manager causing problems. I've been using it for months but a yter had real problems with it and the only difference was he was using CC. I know he got it working but I don't know if he figured out what was wrong. I better check.

Definitely clutch!

The primary reasons for outposts is 1) storage of all the stuff that you pick up and 2) you can jump to your outpost in one grav jump ignoring your ship fuel cost An outpost isn't an absolute need in game but does have some benefits.

It does unlock the level. If you are low level you may want to hold off but I think everything is unlocked by level 70

@@tassey definitely start slow and maybe drop a hard save before getting crazy with mods. I have seen several people break their game with conflicting mods but none of this list is conflicting as i had them all running at the same time.

@@Starfield_Eclipse Oh I have used mods in older games, but when you get a new game that is still being updated frequently, mods can get problematic. So I stay cautious. And save.

There is an achievement friendly symbol that they use to show the ones that don't disable achievements. I think BGS has to review the mod first to ensure that it doesn't affect gameplay before it gets the achievement friendly flag.

That was the plan after star station re-939. Basically trying to suck any va'ruun dialogue out of the game then towards the end of summer edit it all together for a lore/fan theory video.

My first BGS game was in late 2001 with Morrowind. I recall all the bugs with that game and I recall post hoc development in content costing money. There is plenty in this world to be outraged about, don't waste your energy on a video game.

I wonder if some of these bigger gaming studios are actually trying to quietly discourage players from using consoles and funnel them towards PCs. Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo have notably become increasingly monopolistic and manipulative in the past 10 years and it's put a lot of extra burden on developers, as well as well as modders. There isn't a good reason that we don't still have a wide open gaming market, like we had back in the 90s, except that certain brands used their success in the industry to influence and entice developers to build games specifically for a limited selection of devices. There isn't a good reason that we aren't all playing games on "PC consoles", which could be purposefully built by major brands and local computer shops alike, with an essentially universal catalogue of games available through software like Steam. Maybe some of these bigger game development studios are trying to liberate the future of the gaming industry.

@@Toutvids actually, No. The album only downloaded if you had automatic downloads “on”. There is no debate there. Before you comment in ignorance please go get an IPhone, IPod and familiarize yourself with ITunes and Apple Music. People like you are the problem wethers it’s Apple or Microsoft. I guess you’re going to whine when your XBox automatically updates your game (because you had the box ticked) 😂.
