Thank you for just existing. one of your videos randomly popped up on my feed a few years ago, it was the baja one and i ended up binge watching the entire baha series + all the other vids. i had zero clue that bikepacking existed. You introduced me to a world full of adventure and i ended up getting in to bikepacking in Texas. I love it and Thank You for everything you do and thank you for your positive energy and entertaining rides

Hi Ryan! I want to thank you for inspiring me to get my 67 year old body bike-packing. I just completed a 6 day, 400 km rail-trail ride through eastern Ontario's backcountry, following rail trails, mostly dry, although one day I found myself chasing minnows, LOL. I had no flatties, crashies or whammies and I OLE'd my lungs out on the only tunnel I went through as I channeled my inner Ryan. I had a blast and hope to take on something longer next season, preferably with more padding on my butt which was starting to make its unhappiness known on day 6. Wishing you all the best and congratulating you on your attitude and your resilience, your commitment and dedication to do what YOU want to do in life. That takes guts. You rock, dude. Don't ever forget that. Your Tour Divide effort was something to be proud of, despite the whammy that took you out. Shit happens, right? But we learn from it and move on. Love the channel!

I heard a perspective recently, that the worst thing that's happened to you, is the best possible thing that could have happened to you. Feels appropriate here, talking about your successful channel because of past failures. Thanks for being you, Ryan. You are an incredible inspiration. My own YT channel (on video games) was beginning to take off during COVID, and then I found you and a few other creators. Long story short, I gave up gaming, started hiking, biking and running again, and never looked back. Training for my first 50K now, and wouldn't change a thing.

I am writing to tell you when I found an older video of yours, about your Mom's ebike, I was so happy. I now have an etrike and feel the wind in my hair again. You gave me the words I was doing battle in my head to embrace the electric motor and enjoy the ride again. Thank you very much.

I couldn’t agree more. And oh do I love how your paths crossed when they might not have if it weren’t for what didn’t happen out on the trail this summer. There was a quote once that said, “ when one door closes, another opens. But we’re often staring so hard at the closed door that we miss the open one.” Or something like that. Everything happens or doesn’t happen for a reason and I strongly believe that. Excited for you! Also loved attending this talk and hearing your reflections.

First off, absolutely love these videos. They’re very motivational and inspiring. Part of what motivated me to become an every day cyclist and eventually a multi week bike tour across NY on the Erie Canal. This video in particular touches on the subject that success doesn’t come easy. A lot of times in life, we have to fail a few times to get where we are, and sometimes we never hit where we wanted to be, but we end up on another road that we’re pretty proud of (5 year old me wanted to be 6’8 and play in the NBA. My parents are glad I never became Dennis Rodman 🙂). Really neat to hear some of the back story, I don’t think some people realize how much work and struggle goes into this. I’ve been riding my bike to work for 5 years now, and am glad this channel exists. Also, as a healthcare practitioner, I’m always looking to get my patients healthier. I don’t think there’s a more fun way that doesn’t feel anything like exercising than cycling to get healthy. This is one of the channels I send them to (and I hope priority you’re listening), and because of this channel priority is now one of the brands I recommend to my patients looking to get a reliable bike to get around on. Last thought, just an idea for a video on your channel for those of us not quite as able to do as many bike tours as we want or our girlfriends let us, but what about a cool video on doing life on a bicycle and traveling to a new city with your bike? Your videos on bike commuting were some that really helped me figure out how to bike to work. I really like folding bikes. They’re fun to ride, great for travel, and take up less space in an apartment. I’ve grabbed groceries, done laundry, and taken off on all day rides on one. Plus, they usually are pretty easy to get on and off, and make great bikes for when your friends come to visit and need a bike. My gf just flew in to visit, and the priority folder became her get around NYC bike and our explore together bike. She loves it. I don’t think folding bikes get enough love, but they’re great for city life and traveling to a new city to explore. So @prioritybicycles, any chance of a spotlight on the priority folding bike by Ryan Van Duzer doing normal life on a folder and going to a cool city like San Diego, Chicago, or NYC to explore on a priority folding bike, like a neat travel video on a new city except for getting around by bicycle? My favorite is traveling by Amtrak, but you can figure out other cool and cheap ways to travel with a folding bike that don’t take expensive boxes or plane tickets. Could also be a great video on traveling as a couple. I’ve got my gf into cycling, and we’re going to take our folding bikes together and go explore a new city this December! Just an idea, I thought that might be a cool idea and I know your channel could really do a great job at it. Plus I need some more priority folding bike videos to share with my patients 🙂.

Hi Ryan, Thank you for sharing your adventures with the world! You are my boyfriend’s favorite cyclist and I approve 😄 As a Latina, I love your focus on health and beans-they’re essentials in my book. 🌱 I had to chime in after seeing his comment! As the girlfriend who was convinced to join the cycling life, I can say nothing brings you closer than dodging NYC traffic together and trying not to scream. But now? I think I might be faster than him. 😉 His Priority folding bike has become my favorite! I love supporting his cycling adventures, but let’s be honest: we ride together, and we have to look good doing it-matching gear or it’s a no-go! We’re gearing up for a folding bike trip to a new city, and I can’t wait. To all the girlfriends out there, give it a shot-cycling is a fun way to stay active and build that cardio, which can definitely bring some extra perks to your relationship. Also, the breathtaking scenery and unforgettable moments you share with your boyfriend will be unlike anything you've ever experienced! So @prioritybicycles, more videos for couples with folding bikes, please!🚴♀️❤️🚴♂️ Nat&Jay2024Adventures ❤️
